Just today just bought an oven and ready to start my venture in Polymer Clay soon ! woot

Some questions for those experienced here, Im curious to know before i placed those in my oven.

a) Can we baked our paperclay? i mean like putting it into the oven at certain temperature.

b) What is the difference if u let it dry by air and bake version?

hi, beginner here...thinking of starting this hobby but no idea what i should get at the first place.

first getting the correct tools and books would help a lot

try to find these books - http://www.elvenwork.com/book.html
i know there's some in multifilla @ balakong.

here;s my input.

Practice with normal polymer clay/ paperclay first. Single color.

- 1 x aluminium short knitting needle ( yeah...frankly this the best shapper tool I've seen for clay modeling ironically, because of the pencil like shape) @ any knitting krafting shop.
- 1 x good cutter blade @ any supermarket/stationary shop
- 1 x an oven just for clay baking (can adjust temperature) @ any supermarket / electrical shop
- 1 x roll of aluminium foil @ any supermarket normally near the place where they sell baking stuff
- 1 x of tick and sharp toothpick @ any supermarket
- 1 x clay machine (like those pan mee maker ) @ artfriend 2nd floor gardens midvalley
- 1 x some metal stainless tray to work on.
- 1 x air tight to store clays or those air tight sandwitch bags @ can get alot in giants or tesco.
