The web browser in 2.0 has been seriously overhauled, very impressive. Still not Wii U quick, but nonetheless... it's the fastest browser on a handheld and among any other consoles to date. In comparison to smartphones, it's definitely no Opera, Chrome or iOS6. But does hold up pretty good. If anyone has had experience browsing back in the iOS 4.0/4.2 or Android 3.x days, the new Vita browser is about as quick as them. Great job Sony! Loving the new browser now. Oh and tip: Place finger on the screen + tap L or R shoulder button to bring up to the "Gesture Pointer". This allows you to bring the cursor any where you want on the screen to select anything, no matter how small a link may be.  |
