For the screen I prefer 1000

For many things 2000 look batter.

To all Sifus here,

I purchase a 2ndhand ps vita recently.
How to reset the psn account and reset the unit to factory setting?
when i try to reset to factory setting, it asking for parental control passcode.
even the previous owner never set any passcode before.

HOLD power button for 10sec until ps vita completely shutdown

Then HOLD power button + PS button + volume button.

Your ps vita will start in recovery mode

chose option 3...dont forget to format the card 1st

I bought a God Eater 2 edition PS Vita and found out that the charging socket is not compatible with the charging outlet, I do have a converter from previous old PSP.

Just wondering will the charging have any problem as the PS set is from Japan. In other words does Malaysia power output compatible with the charger?

All Vita chargers (and even back to the PSP for the matter) runs at 100v ~ 240v. You can use it anywhere in the world.

Please note that US PSN have much more meaningful sales than MY PSN. MY PSN is always more pricey except the exceptional few. If you look at February Free games, MY gets some games offered in January (no English subtitles).

Best seller for US PSN prepaid is:
hazwandek and wierdoz

Yes all digital game price is in MYR. To a certain extent US PSN has better deals and better offers but MY PSN has improved a lot vs when it started out. There are still price gems vs US PSN for some Vita games (just a couple of months back, games like Little Deviants, Resistance Burning Skies, Motorstorm RC are all cheaper than the US PSN as well as card games). Now they also have Dragon's Crown at RM 81 which is RM 50 cheaper than the card game and about RM 20 vs US PSN. When Killzone Mercenary was launched, the price is also the same (or slightly cheaper than US) though US PSN did have an offer for USD 9 for KZ Mercenary recently.

Just in case you think I'm pushing PSN MY, do know that I'm a PS+ member for US, UK & MY, and I'm a dead bargain hunter when it comes to online purchases so I would compare easily across the regions. That said you can't go wrong with subscribing either one so if you think you want to set your account to US is ok. I'm advocating more on MY coz I think with more support shown here, they will improve further. Plus they will have one advantage US & UK will not have which is access to Japanese games (free or discounted) but only if you're into it of course.

Thanks for the reply guys. What about online capability. If i'm going to play online with other players on the R1/US acc, will it be laggy compared to R3/asia? Or it depends on the user as well?

Yeah I think I would opt for US psn, because im not into jap/chi games. Cant understand the language. sad.gif

I have been play RO on R1 it damn lag when play online with us player.

But if you have friend from Malaysia play with them...is batter then playing with us player less lag.

I never play online with my PSN MY on my vita. So I can't compare coz I don't know lol. The down side about vita is I can't put more then 1 PSN.
I can't fully use my PSN MY because I already hook with my PSN US.

I've only tried playing Sonic All Star Racing online. Didn't notice any lag. Felt just like playing offline. But I can't say which region I'm connected to eventhough I'm using US PSN.

Oh so It depends on the user as well. Such as Malaysian/asia player playing on the US PSN region will be less lag compared to playing with US player in US PSN. Correct?

I think it depend on the game server. Killzone have no such lag.
