Question: if join the ps vita plus and i join for 30 days only, and say i downloaded a game from ps plus for free during the offer period, will i still able to play the game or download it next time for free since i "bought" it during the promotion period?

Yes you can. But in order to play it you need to still be a PS+ member. So after 30 days you need to subscribe for another 30 days or more in order to keep playing the free game.

Wow... so I need to keep on pay to become PS+ member in order to continue playing those games... meaning the cost incurred would be higher than buying the game card itself in long run... in a way, that's how I look at it.

It just a simple business method to keep their customers. From what I read, PS+ is still consider a good investment to you and Sony in a long run, depend on what type of gamer you are. If you're the type to play one game and be done with it, than it's not recommended. If you're gamer for life(plus got extra money to commit) then why not? Just my two cent.

Well, for RM125 per year you can get 2-3 free games per month which will easily total up to over RM1k. Down side is you won't be able to own the game for real. For games that I really like I'll buy the digital copy/game card. If you don't plan to resell your games and usually play and be done with it it's fine I think. However you have no control over what game they'll be offering for free next.

I own some digital game...using ps+ buy them at the lowest price.

Dynasty warrior next buy at price 8 dollah.

is it safe to charge the vita with any phone charger? usb to wall socket converter or usb car adapter.
dont want to be lugging around so many wires when i travel.

Just sharing from experience:

I got my Vita in June this year. Subscribed to US PS+ for usd50. Downloaded for free Uncharted Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048, and Gravity Rush. Got my "modal" back already. "Gave" free PS3 version of Battlefield 3, Xcom and Hitman Absolution to my bro who has a PS3. Got several other free full game trials which i didn't download coz streamyx is way too slow.
Also went travelling for about 2 weeks recently, finished half of Persona 4 Golden, was able to upload (through phone 3G) to backup my Vita saves to the 1GB free cloud storage on the go. No fear of losing my saves even if i misplace my Vita. Recently got some more new free games for PS+ -> Kingdoms of Amalur, ICO HD for PS3, GTA and Rayman Origins for Vita. The PS+ is also useable on PS4.

So, will i renew my PS+ subscription next year? Definitely.

LOL, its ok if you dont subscribe No one forcing you Some ppl just feel otherwise Also your explanation only applies to free games yeah. Games bought at discount (and some are really really discounted) will be kept even if subscription expires.

Personally I only use Vita charger but thats just me.

You can, I'm using a Nokia USB wall charger. The original adapter died on me on the second day I got it.

I alwasy charge my phone use USB cable...from pc and my car...so far so good.

What is no region protection game for PS Vita games?

Say if I have PSN region 2 and memory card is linked to my PSN region 2, can I still play games that are no region protection and get the DLC??

I've seen quite a number of games selling in Play Asia that has no region protection... please enlighten me.

No region protection means region free, you can play those games regardless of the PSN account region, but DLCs and online pass are region locked. So, best pratice get game region same as PSN account region unless you don not care about online pass or DLCs.
