While buying laptops from Lowyat is not a bad choice, but after I did some googling work I found out a store called Techhypermart, selling my notebook of choice at more or less the same price (shipping fee added).

bought my netbook frm thr, wat i cn say is, they do sell laptops n netbooks for very cheap, i bought mine at rm850 while most shops outside sell at least rm950

but they oni sell laptops cheaply, other stuff is more xpensive (processor, ram , thumbdrive, etc)

but if u oni buy laptop then its ok......overal i think their service is very gud , n u cn do self collect at their shop at puchong if u stay nearby puchong.......

Prices are more or less the same, what you're suppose to eye out is:
1. service
2. after sales
3. location

I usually avoid shops that barely has parking

So did anyone facing any trouble for after sale service after purchased laptop from this shop?

If the laptop is suprisingly cheap compared to other resellers, pls be sure that inner part of the laptop isnt been changed. Just you need extra precautions. Just my 10 cent

but how to diagnose a laptop ineer part isnt being change?XD

The first thing when i buy my laptop is to comfirm that the laptop box is completely sealed. Just be sure it is never been opened before nor reseal back after being opened by the shop.

To check for the inner parts like hdd, RAM, u can install a software called speccy to check what brand it is.

bought a dell from them, price cheap, you can drop by their shop located in puchong to cod, most of the time they have stock. So far my laptop gives me no problem. Service is not an issue, as it is cover by dell.

I brought my gf to this shop and bought an Asus laptop last Saturday,good service from them.So far the laptop is nice and of course the price is the cheaper I can get..Would like to recommend this shop to all..

HOW TO BUY ONLINE?? MY PLACE IS FAR FROM THERE... SO SAD

beside Techhypermart, Ipmart also sell various laptops with lower price compared to retail price.

Just I am not sure whether they are authorized or not in case you want to claim warranty.

IPmart to me dont la..1st, it is online shop (u know la how on9 shop works), I had bad experienced last time with IPmart in the late 2014 - bought a pre order PS4, my original packaging already opened - the worst part, there is no seal at all & my free PSplus 12 months subscribtion cards was been replaced by 1 month cards!

; & then, it takes me about 1 months to reclaimed my rights - after lots of email with pictures, proof of purchased, calling & so on..the company based was in the Sarawak if i not mistaken (& this is the reasons for no. 2 - when u have problems, will hard for us to claim the warranty or guarantee)

so my advice & I also prefer buy at the established shop or authorised/officials shop - although it could cost me a bit.
