I just bought a new DHD. Thinking of flashing it but still wondering which custom rom is the best.

Wow bro,chill, i still dont get it clearly. I am still new in this thingy. I only played and used CFW on my galaxy tab a year plus ago and i am totally lost in it now.

Do you mind sharing links for the CFW you mentioned?

I am now using a DHD with official gingerbread FW. What should i do to use CFW?

It is still unrooted.

Do i need to rollback to froyo,start rooting and install CFW OR just root,install CFW while in gingerbread?

How can i be sure whether i have a branded / regional DHD or not?

What's the most choices of CFW you guys used on DHD? Mine using the runnydroid.

Yeah. CFW = Custom Firmware. Well,i will give the hand on the CM7.

Guys,currently i am using the MUIU_ACE rom.. do i need to change / update the RIL as well? it says only for Sense Based roms.

Currently running a MIUI - ACE. What i notice so far is the wifi coverage is quite bad. Also flash to the latest radio and use Lordmod UE 8.6 CST.

Fuh.. so many roms already i tried.. so hard to choose, almost change twice a day since i got my DHD. Now using Blackice Mod.

It is so simple like those MIUI.

Last night on cm7.. now on MIUI Ace DE.. well,problem solved as i set all manual for the proxy,vpn etc..

Now 2nd problem is "no connection RETRY" on market.

*Edited* All problems solved after reset to default.

Some is looking for LordModUEv8.7-b2-CFS.zip kernel

I download the coredroid just now,but didnt realize that i download the HD2 version and installed to my DHD. Error,Error, the aborted. Luckily i still keep the backup.

Updating through OTA should not be a problem IMO.

P/S : Every rom & kernel i tried,mostly have a problem with Wifi range. What's the best solution? My Wifi can't be too far from the router / modem . Even just 7-8 feet away,coverage very low.
