nope. no point la. the fastest data i ever use is my 5mbps unifi at home lo. speedtest also can reach 5mbps means it's able to transmit faster than that. so yeah...no point.

what is unbranded and branded? how do i know mine is either one?

flashed miui and quite happy with it..

but 1 thing i missed on sense rom is the htc ori keyboard.,,

Thinking of getting this. What is the normal price for this phone and normal price of Desire S?

I'm running MIUI 2.3.7 in my DHD for almost 4 months.
So far so good, no problem at all.
I used to OCed around 1.1-1.4+ GHz, depends what apps I'm running.

DHD rooted su #, eng off but still unable to boot to recovery.

when booting, it stuck with a phone and red triangle exclamation mark.. any idea how to solve this?

tried to press both +- volume plus power .. and run sdcard/update.zip.. but failed "installation aborted" no such file in sdcard..

did u install recovery???now what u need is go to market n search for rom manager then dl rom manager then from rom manager select install cwm(clockworkmod recovery) then only u can boot into recovery

Happen to me on 16 dec..what i did was off my dhd n take out battery and on my dhd back..after that it become normal...so how your dhd?is it still happen?

guys....need some help here.

now when I plug usb cable to pc, I dont get the pop-up on my dhd to ask me whether to choose diskdrive, charge only or wad. I've checked the settings. set default to disk drive and checked ask me everytime I connect.

now it doesnt pop-up to ask me and it doesnt show up as disk drive on my pc. helppppp. tried restarting phone adi.

Added on December 24, 2011, 2:43 pmhmmm I think I found the prob. it's adwlauncher that's preventing usb connections. switched back to htc sense and I can now mount as disk drive already.

Yeay...anyone played GTA in DHD?where to download?

tried it. but it got stuck halfway. had to remove battery. so I gave up and uninstalled it. too lazy to play games anw.

video taken using the phone camera.. i delete it directly using phone, not through pc wor.. i try to restore it using some recovery program on google.. hopefully it works

I don't think it will work. if you delete it from phone, you'll lose it forever. But thanks to this. Some files might be recovered back.

downloaded ROM v4.8.0.7, boot to bootloader > recovery >

error picture showing hp and red exclamation mark

pressed volume button +- and power button at the same time to update from sdcard/update.zip

error showing installation aborted.. mostly likely due to "no update.zip file"

[edited] lol .. sry didnt get what u meant just now.. now i understand.. thx for ur help.. all the while i thought after downloading ROM then that's it can reboot to recovery. missed the step need to flash recovery.img/flash to recovery clockworkmod
