you can try the kernel included inside the rom if you feel its good.

^yeah I also wanna know what's the best way to backup my SIM contacts.

I wonder if there's a way to backup in a universal format so that if I lost my phone+sim, I can just restore to my new sim and new phone without having to borrow an android just to restore them.

lets say i lost my DHD+sim, I'll just cancel and re-register for new sim. I might not get an android phone again. maybe go back to my old nokia/sony ericsson.

not sure about android 2.3.5, but sense 3.0 is rootable, i rooted my friend's DHD which has already upgraded to sense 3.0..

u should root ur phone and go for custom rom with sense 3.5 sense 3.5 is very stable on our dhd now.. been using it for months already

I previously changed to MIUI rom. Now I wan to revert back to the stock rom. Does anybody know where i can download the stock rom? I bought the phone from Freshgear Digital Mall. Please help.
