Hi all ,im new for ICE ...ermmmmm...im looking for a smooth and comfortable sound system for my myvi extreme ,definitely with a smooth comfortable bass (medium range bass)...i dun wan a huge subwoofer place in my rear bonnet,dun like those boom boom boom kind 1 (hardcore type)......any recommend?

- According to my research, active subwoofer is suitable for my requirement bt v costly and more worth da price for 1 custom made 8"/10"/12" subwoofer wif a enclosure under driver seat including 2 channel amplifier. (nid equalizer n tweeter ?) [Correct me If i'm wrong]

Questions:
- The question is if i customize a enclosure under driver seat will it effect the reflection and quality of bass sound ? bcause spacing under driver seat is limited.
- How about the estimate installation and custom made enclosure cost will it almost the same price with a active subwoofer?
- Sound quality compare with active subwoofer and 8"/10"/12" subwoofer + 2 channel amplifier? which 1 better?

Problem:
- Lack of space in rear Bonnet...Every 1 noe it, Myvi bonet is v small n i nid a space to put in my luggage n others. So there is no space for a subwoofer.

What is the best option? really nid help from u guys ,im new for Car Audio System n no experience at all >< scare kena tipu from Audio Shop so i rather do some research for it bfore operation.

Budget: Around RM1000

just get an 8 or 9 inch sub in a small box, wont take up much space in myvi boot.

if u got 1k budget and 40% of the boot space can be sacrifice, then a 10" sub is the good choice

If you want deeper bass, you have to go for 12" woofer...

is the new myvi hu good??

just wondering can the new Myvi DVD player support mp4 format? cause i've download a few MV from youtube.

just put in usb and test it on

can myvi extreme HU connected to CD changer??

My car will b available in mid jan, so hoping those who already own a myvi with dvd player could help me out.

now the next problem is i need to disable the function where it turn off the display when handbrake is release, still got audio tho.
