Anybody can advise me of your experience which produces the best tripod? Stability, portability, weather resistance....

I own all three. Easiet to shut fanboy out of this thread.

Jusino head is surprising good. But tripod built is lousy(seriously bad and flimsy). Plate release safety is reliable. But the plate doesn't has a edge stopper to stop the plate from turning itself lose from the camera. It's plate its slightly diff from other plates (smaller) with end up plate from other brand can't be use on the QR head *tested with sirui and benro plate, although jusino claimed is based arca swiss QR design.

Sirui head is lousy like manfrotto (sold mine) (comparing with Apple to Apple worth rm300 head). Its not smooth. Tripod build is average, but the clip lock for the tripod legs is spring! It get rusted if u shoot on seawater or even rain if u don't clean it properly after shoot in extreme condition. The plate has 2 red edge stopper(UGLY) for camera so the plate go lose if u twist it around.

Benro, in other hand, is lightest, stronger leg, (really better fibre weaving,) smaller to travel with. The head aren't as smooth as jusino, but still hell lot better then manfrotto, sirui, fotopro. The custom plate with single hedge edge (PC 50) is my fav general purpose plate, it doesnt turns around because the edge henge is blocking it on the camera edge from turning.

Thanks a lot for your feedback bro, so nice to see u got all 3 brand, hahaa! My budget is 500 only, ur Benro and Sirui both are CF, both priced about 1k, lol.. I thought Sirui G-10 ballhead is not bad already? Didn't know that Jusino ballhead is better =.=

go SG now, benro and sirui has big christmas promotion damn cheap now! as cheap as jusino now! i heard the cf travel angel is around 600+myr (after convertion)

spec sheet dont tell u much until u actually TOUCH IT and USE IT. although sirui state 12kg LoadLimit, its not smooth at all! jusino was surprisingly smooth even it rated at 10kg LL. my benro used for 2 years+ (which i brought for 2k back then) the head still smooth, but then, the jusino i had is new, never used, so the head kinda, like new smooth.

i wont say jusino head is better, but the smoothness tells everything. if turning the camera up and down left right is not smooth, its pointless to pay so much for the head when cheaper panhead can do better.

only people who uses his jusino extremely can tell how good it last. i headly use the jusino as its heavy (non CF) lol

reason i got so many pods is because sometimes i set 2 camera to do 1-2 hours startrails. so i leave it there to shoot itself.

actually, any tripod can use la, its just personal satisfaction only... kakakaka but when u going hi end, the value for money is big concern. but when u play to get cheap pod like 300-400, u cant expect ur head to work like a rm300 head rite? smile.gif

my next target is the fotopro m5 mini... sooooo cute!

ieR: Is there any particular shop for the Benro travel angel which is having promo?

The Jusino is flimsy although it's aluminium, when compared to those CF tripod from Benro or Sirui?

Got a Benro tripod/monopod A-1691 from Camtronic http://www.camtronic.com.my/shopping/index...&product_id=807

Really good built quality. The weight can be felt, but not the the point of being heavy. The ball head is really rock solid after a tight screw.

My plan is to get the Sirui N1004 series tripod. The built is not bad base on the price of RM530, weight only 1.2kg, payload 12kg, max height 1560mm, folded 440mm, convertible to monopod.

http://www.zssirui.com/EN/frm_ProductSerie...spx?SeriesID=14

I love to get the Benro too, but it's on the heavy side, 1.7kg eh. wish to get the CF version of travel angel but too pricey =.= Unless can find a 600+ deal from SG as mentioned by "ieR"

p/s: BTW anybody can advise Benro B0 ballhead vs SIrui G10 ball head, which is better?

Jusino AX254 user reporting... ball head is good, the QR plate is not so good... but the tripod itself is very stable and not flimsy at all... very happy with it so far.

that the reason i wont recommend ppl sirui.

let say, i buy a tripod, do i expect it to last 5 year or 10 year or more then 15 years?
anything with spring and use under all weather condition, i wont expect it to live pass 5 years. because they get rusty.
at that price you are paying, do u, get a 5 year lifetime product or longer lifetime one?

I saw from the specification about the BH-00 ball head which comes together with the Travel Angel A068/069, the max load capacity is stated as 2kg, does this mean, if the lens+body is heavier than 2kg then how?

Bro, u own this model? A-1681/A-1691 B-0? How do u mean the weight can be felt? Is it really heavy for travel? Coz I hold the Sirui N1004/T1004x is quite light, they are identical to the Benro travel angel 169 series.

Heavy for travel onto really depends what type of traveling. I even consider my DSLR heavy for traveling while i"m on holiday.

If you are the type who brings all your gear out for a shoot, I recommend save the money and get a CF. Else Benro above shall suffice. For me it's more to solid than heavy

CF is out of my budget =.=, for the time being, I'm seriously considering getting the Benro Travel Angel Aluminium A-1681-B-0. Considering the price of less den 600. I pick this over the Sirui N1004 G10 - RM530.
Right choice??

Dunno about Sirui, so can't make a comparison. What I can say is the Benro can turn to a monopod, the center volume can be placed upside down so can shoot on very low height.

There is two head model, the one with BH00 is damn cheap, but that one only offered by shashinki, other online store or shop only come with B series head, not BH. BH is the non 'friction' knob one. please check again. because 3 years ago i make the same confusion to myself too.

so will jusino, sirui and fotopro. smile.gif infact, jusino improve the pod future by having the center column split to two, and use the other half on the monopod, hence another 20cm gain to monopod height.
