yup, this is my first job lah, if you dont count my time as a banquet waiter at the Legend (6rm an hour), a street peddler (depends on how much i sold, 12rm a day) and an intern (500rm a month). those dont have bonus one liao

i remember the time when i was a street peddler, selling crap like novelty toenail clippers or those tableware sets. 2rm from each thing i sold, so 12rm a day goes to show i suck ass at selling. but it was fun, walking around my assigned area, building up the courage to go up to absolutely random strangers and try to sell them stuff they dont really need.

i think i was too... dedicated during my first year. sleepover at the office, mandi in the gym. this year i burnt out edi.

theyre annoying (i guess i was too), but i feel for them lah. its really a tough job, walking around the whole day. you wont know whether you'll sell twenty and bring home 40rm, or go home with nothing. i was okay if i came home empty, but some of the fellas and gals who worked with me, well, they really could use the money.

so yeah, sometimes i buy stuff off street peddlers. dunno what i'll do with the stuff lol.

meh, engineer punya answer. as an economist, you'd want to maximise the utilisation of scarce resources. car sitting at home/car park/road side for 23 hours a day is an inefficient use of limited funds and inefficinet utilisation of the car itself.
