Will upgrading your sound system void your new car's warranty? Have you check on it?

My friend is driving a persona and I find the speakers are okay but if you're just changing the speakers only then why not change to the full sound system set.

This is a very noob question so please bear with me. The car (savvy) with me is all stock. Clarion head unit, and I saw speaker holes on the doors, one for each door. So I assume there's 4 speakers. I want to get some few improvement if possible.

My idea (please forgive the noobness):
1. Replace the rear door speakers with subwoofers (small ones to fit). So there subwoofers. Is this enough?

2. Replace head unit to support MP3 USB, and together with number 1 above (subwoofers for rear).

Its because I want to keep the stock look of the interior, no adding of device like amps or crossover, because the stock don't have such. A good head unit can deliver what the amp does, say the entry level Pioneer (below RM400)?

I don't aim for much bass too (not SPL), just good cheap SQ.

Thanks for ideas!

Then just try and change HU first. Sometimes changing HU only already have some major improvement from stock.

Btw, no such thing as small subwoofer to fit into your door. Actually got la, but definitely not cheap and will also change your interior look.

The whole door will rattle very hard once the subwoofer start working. A subwoofer will require an amp to drive it, so why not place an under the seat subwoofer comes complete with an amp.

My suggestion
Buy the Audiophile speaker from http://www.mudah.my/li?ca=8_s&id=56615
take out the drivers unit (together with the splitter) and install it into your car

I put in a pair of Celestion speaker into my Kancil, it sound wonderfull.
