Installation take ages, it is very bad. Looks like you need those WCG PC spec, with 16 GB RAM.

Its not a Core 2 Duo my friend, his processor will not able to bring up the potential of the GPU if he's going to use those mentioned graphic card by you.

u can just download the sc2 by using the free starter edition, u just need to register at the blizzard website and verify your email thats all, and it also takes some time to download if u dont mind.

I upgraded my PC for sc2 last time.
i am using duo core but a bit higher then yours with a rm300 graphic card and 4 G RAM

I can play 4v4 with full blown out engagement without any problem. I am on low setting always and even playing skyrim my PC also is fine

Recommend you to get a high RAM graphic card and jab in another 2G RAM and you are fine to go.

my ASUS notebook specs:

OS: windows 7 pro 32bit
CPU: intel C2D T7500 @ 2.2GHz
RAM: DDR2 3GB
with intel built-in graphics

a 3-year old notebook, playing with low settings with everything off, still pops up a notification asking me to close other applications for better running as I'm slowing down the game...==

btw I'm just playing a 1v1 game...just manage to finish the campaign...torturing...==

bottleneck on the graphics.u can still try to reduce the resolution..plus disabling the Windows Aero theme might help
