I thought we will be soundly beaten by playing without proper fullbacks, but we have defended a lot better, too bad could not get the equaliser. Nevermind, let's win next game vs Aston Villa.

donnu what happen to arshavin alreaddy . . . bit of disappointed with him
Basically i think in defense are doin quite well, all they need is another striker who can score goal
& also a creative person playing attacking mid field. thumbup.gif

That's Wilshere, he's still injured, but he'll be back, better and shining.

wilshere alone is never going to be enough.... if AW can bring another striker or maybe playmaker i confidence top 4 will be ours

Actually, Rosicky with his direct running or Yossi with his passing are options we have to Ramsey, but Boss does not want to use either of them. The team that we have are only good to be Top 4, if want to win titles we have to remove salary cap, buy better players and ship out dead weights.

Okay, now Djourou is out due to groin injury. That's why he was subbed off early in 2nd half. Given the circumstance, Miquel did pretty well as makeshift full back.

Really? Great, body count increasing again. Jenkinson should be back soon, same goes to Sagna. BTW, is that Gervinho on the right side of the picture?

Arsenal's inability to score and win by more than 1 goal margin is frustrating. And to top it off, we keep conceding 1 goal out of nothing. (same like Fulham). Anyone noticed how we are more comfortable playing away from home?

Baseball basics, a game has 9 innings. Teams take turn for offense (batting) and defense. One inning can go on until batting team has 3 outs. 1 out achieved after hitter received 3 strikes. Run scored with home run or continued batting where players have to move from home plate to 2nd, 3rd and back to home plate again. If game are tied after 9 innings, will have extra innings to conclude the winner (must have a winner). Every team have different positions, pitcher, catcher, designated hitter, base player and outfield player.

a lil understand. so 1 game will have 81 strikers. to score one inning, a team's hitter must be able to score in 3 outs max. i saw once they place, once hitter hit, he threw his bat on the floor and run one round then back to his position that consider as one score, then if hitter get to do that  in one of max 3 outs, next team hitter's will be in action to play next round.

and about position, got so many? All I saw was, one throw, one catch(assuming in opposite team and he catch do deny the hitter to hit), and one hit (so this guy is the striker-like role, he hit then threw his bat, then run one round then pick up the ball back to his position then score one)

something like that right. sounds like beside the hitter, others got not much to play (like the role of goalkeeper).  hmm.gif

I think he hit home run, that's why he run through all the bases. Home run is only legit in between two huge yellow post on left and right side of field. Anyway, if a home run was hit, and they have let's say 2 players on base, the team earns 3 runs (1 hitter + 2 runners on base). If there are 3 players on base with less than 3 out, it's called base loaded. If next batter hits home run, it's called a grand slam (earns 4 runs with 1 hit). It is possible for same player to be involved in same inning twice if defense team could not get 3 outs. Some times team change pitcher just for this occasion.

Offense involve only 1 player at a time where as defense will have full team ( a pitcher, 1 catcher, 3 base player and 6 player outfield on grass). Every offense player will be involved in defense except for designated hitter who only plays offense.
