If he is going, then let it be on a good note. I liked Chamakh, and I still do. His awesome height and presence is similar to Adebayor. The only lacking is his play time and obviously he can't suit well with Arsenal style of play. He is still very young and has lots of potential to go. He left as a free agent from Bordeux, so perhaps its a fine return for both club and player. I wish him all the best if the news is true.

Philip Lahm, Lukas Podolski.....since when we becoming german's national team? biggrin.gif

I got a sense that its going to be another goalfest like the previous Arsenal Vs Chelsea game. Both teams are highly offensive and good at counter attacks. And if our defense is worrying, then the only solution is to

Yea, also considering the short distance between Chelsea and Arsenal, I don't think Torres will disagree to a move to the Emirates. Personally, I don't have any problem with the transfer fee, but similar to how you guys feel, the salary is too high for Arsenal to grant. If he agrees to a reduced wage, then Torres should fit quiet nicely to the team. And perhaps after some good goals, we might be able to sell him off for a better price. Good profiteering method, albeit some risk involved.

How come Arsenal NEVER got the easiest team to go against in UCL?

I do believe that the Man Utd camp and Chelsea camp is gunning for us to defeat Man City. smile.gif Either that or they'd prefer for us to draw.

Anybody watching the Club World Cup Final nao? Barcelona tapao-ed Santos 4-0 with our ex-captain scoring third goal. Neymar has got so much potential, plus he looks a decent team player.

Seems like Nasri has some points to prove today. Nvm that, but our team does seem a bit nervous at the moment.

Okay, I can see now our right side is the weakest with walcott and djourou keep losing possession easily. Worst is djourou often caught leaving his line and allowing man city to counter attack. Good news is that man city attacks often come from the left with sergio kun, balotelli and yaya toure spearheading the attack. Thank god we have koschielny and vermaelen in GOD MODE. thumbup.gif

End of first half. Walcott is being under-utilised throughout the first game. I think he only got less than 10 touch. Is it time to bench him? The question is, who would replace him?

lmao djourou guarding the ball like a crab

LMAO! laugh.gif isn't that what a defender suppose to do? Anyway, its pretty obvious that szecesny MOTM in the first half. He just saved two superb strikes from balotelli and aguero. Even with the draw, this is a match worthy on the European stage. Both teams are showing class and professionalism in their play.

I can't see Frimpong/Coquelin/Chamberlain being effective in this game. The amount of experience present in this game is massive and it shows. Save your fetish for our youngsters for the Villa/Wolves game will you..

Not fetish laa...its merely a different tsctical approach when one player isn't effective. Of course, that guyy zabaleta does looks like he eats youngsters for supper.
