Somehow, this result is more painful compared to the lost against manchester city. Seriously.

Throughout the game, Arsenal used all three changes. The first one was Arshavin replacing the tired Benayoun. Arshavin had some decent passes, but no more of that penetrating dribbles we saw back in 2010. For me, he didn't contribute much to the game, merely providing the forward with decent formation. Second substitution was Ramsey in to replace Song. I felt Song was not performing fairly well tonight. Wolves first goal would've been counted offside if Song kept himself in check with the defence line. Then he let himself loose with that silly fouls. It was right of mr. Wenger to take Song out of that game. Luckily, Wolves didn't cause any threat to the back, so Song's absence weren't really missed.

Lastly, we have Chamakh in to replace djourou. The first thing he did was getting himself bumped in the head and taking out Rvp at the same time. After that, I didn't recall him of receiving the ball at all. Even when Arsenal is playing lots of high balls and long crosses, it was mostly Vermaelen or Rvp who got the heading. Where is Chamakh in the picture? This isn't the first time Wenger brought in Chamakh into the closing of second half and defenders don't see him as much of a threat anyway. Haizz... Its time mr. Wenger give other strikers a chance to be a supersub. He used to do that a lot to Walcott back during his unproven days. So why not give Chamberlain, or Ryo or even Pcy a chance?

Djourou-shit rated worst perform by fans@stadium following by song.

Never seen vermy so frustrating in a game. this was because the shit referee bias towards wolves.

11shot and get 1..is not good

I wouldn't say shit performance, but it does seems that Wolves prefers to attack the flank down Djourou side compared to Vermaelen's. Well, at least I'm happy that Mertesacker had some good defending as well as goal chance header to his credit. Vermaelen is really looking dead serious in every game, exactly the type of player we need for a solid defence.

I'm sorry to say that I disagree with you on this.

100 passes b4 scoring was so yesterday.

Ever since Fabregas and Nasri left us (yes, both, "left us" - not being sold by the club), we have dramatically reduced the tiki taka football. Our current football is slightly more direct and more open in terms of playmaker or targetman, although many would still say that we are relying on RvP sleep.gif

What I am happy about this change is that we do not overdo it. We still stick to our short passes most of the time instead of the rugby-like long ball - unless we are in desperate situation.

It's a good change although I would prefer that we had done it while the mentioned both were still around.

Yea, I noticed this too. Though it seems frustrating at times, we don't overdo our passes compared to 2009/2010 season. Its been more direct, especially since our midfield isn't as solid as before. Only reason we pass a lot near the penalty box is because most team often park the bus against us. I think almost everyone in the team had a shooting chance in that game.

Wadehole..... Vermaelen got a yellow card for a foul tackle made by Koscielny??! How poor is their judgement that they got mistaken identity among the players?

Referree is piss poor today. Denying two hand ball offense against arsenal. Really frustrating to watch...

Added on December 31, 2011, 11:46 pmIf we're still draw by the end of first half, I hope mr. Wenger would consider placing f. Coquelin on the right flank. His cross is sorely missed in the team. Djourou isn't being effective tonight.

Added on December 31, 2011, 11:48 pmTonight match, Arsenal is playing 1st half in 2011, and 2nd half in 2012. biggrin.gif

Happy New Year guys.

so rvp cannot break shearer record??

Honestly, I can understand his frustration, but the sooner he accept that, the less pressure he has. Perhaps now he is more composed to simply try to score without thinking too much over the record.

Thank you Arshavin. For your clever onside play, for your sweet pass to RVP. I vow to never criticize you for the whole month. brows.gif

Armand Traore sudah pancit. First half he has to chase up Walcott, then he has to catch up to Gervinho. Kenot tahan edy.

Added on January 1, 2012, 12:41 amI got a feeling that Arteta is purposely shooting at Barton's face from the free kick.

Joey Barton seems to be very hard-working every time going against Arsenal. He's everywhere on the pitch, be it defending, holding midfield or attacking forward.
