Comfort....??? Stay with the CC5 205/60/16.....

Why you think I am still using this size....????
*
215/50/17 is very comfortable too, minus the wobbling feeling of 205/60/16.

V1.3 so far so good. If driven sanely fc is ok, power dip at 2.4K & 4K drastically minimised, auto cruise jerk 90% eliminated. However K3 say can still lean out the AFR wor.. Kenny how? Got reply fr rpw on the dyno graphs you fwd to them?
*
XC, do you notice below 2 issue?.

1. morning when first driving, will have the wee wee sound from front, not sure if its due to cold brake.

2. in traffic light when free gear without totally stop, the car will feel jerk jerk before complete stop.

1. when braking? probably got vapour at the disc

2. YOU MUST NOT DO THIS. FASTEST way to kill ur CVT
*
1. i think when just came out from parking lot, and drive very slow. can hear the sound, not stepping on brake.

2. oh my god. thank goodness i asked. only free gear when totally stopped?

1. could be power steering.

2. CVT gearboxes should never allowed to change to N while the car is moving nor engage gear while the car is not stationary.

in other words, only shift when the car is stationary
*
1. the power steering, is that a problem?

aiyo. need to monitor.

1. Sound could be some rust built up overnight, is normal.

2. As advised, pls do not free gear (N) when slowing down, there is no purpose nor will you save anymore fuel unlike mt (even in mt, theoratically were taught not to free gear but engage lower gear; free gear = no control). For auto it may or may not kill ur cvt but constant shifting between N-D-P only add stress to ur gb. Just stay in D unless you are waiting for more than 5 mins.
*
ok. these few days always free to N before stop ,cos i'm now a bit phobia.

i did not free gear and pull handbrake on cameron uphill slope. the car in D, slowly creeped to hit the car infront.
sad.gif my bumper a little bit lower now.

need to stop totally and engage N when waiting time is long. ok.

can pull handbrake and leave it at D?

Ya lah... SG stuff cheaper... stock EVO X rim quoted SGD700 before nego... stock EVO X spoiler quoting SGD350. All those stock stuff or mid level stuff (stuff we buying) are cheaper there... cause they going for the 18/19/20" inches... full carbon bodykit etc... sigh... purchasing power different mah..
*
