QUOTE(MeToo @ Dec 13 2011, 11:08 AM) Comfort/cheap = 17" Looks/Performance/expensive = 18" I suggest 17" liek Jack.. the tyre price savings can be quite considerable. Go for higher spec/better tyres with the savings. Wah if 17" = comfort/cheap then 16" mai super cheapskate category?? Luckily I'm a cheapskate pemandu berhemah.

QUOTE(MeToo @ Dec 13 2011, 11:13 PM) Hmm... not too heavy for stock rims... but those lightweight we can get sub 7kg i think... 1.5KG savings for the rim is quite significant... should improve acceleration + FC. However.... since the wheel's weight mainly come form the TYRE itself... go get 18"/19" and get thinner tyres... sure save weight.... for more vroom vroom 1.5kg weight savings from rim x4 = 6kg. Throw away spare tire already more than kau tim it. Keep tank at half mark will already save 25kg. Best still, driver lose weight by 10kg Chabutzzz kuat kuat....

QUOTE(Pip_X @ Dec 14 2011, 12:17 AM) For me, I'll just re-paint the ori rim and use same spec Michelin tyres (maybe PS3). For PS3 you'll need to get 205/55/16 or 215/55/16

Must understand, taikor Zuladha is a famous troublemaker at Proton. They see him cum, the techs/engineers shudder in fear. Don't fix his problem, he'll fucuk them kau kau.
But thanks to his fucuking, we got fix for our issues.

K3. Any comments from the RPW guy based on the dyno for the 1.8MT? Besides leaning out the AFR (which i'm not too keen to pursue, since ours is quite lean already), any chance to play with the mivec timings, ignition & fuel timings?

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 14 2011, 02:37 PM) You add another layer (darker or COLOR... ), you will attract JPJ coz they will love to see your car.... Dont add if you wanna AVOID JPJ.... Wei, like yur 6k HID and lampu merah does not attract JPJ

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Dec 14 2011, 05:55 PM) 1.8 v1.3b is safe for everyone.. better highend power . JXplod .. drive carefully Actually not much difference between the v1.3b and v1.3c that would justify doing it without a dyno. Slight gain but better to be safe.

Puk1mak, my agent just sent the insurance renewal notice. Still put the insured value at 76k. I think hoping for water fish. Plus add on all the liability nonsense as well.
Any insurance giving free gift ar? Mine is currently Kurnia and got nothing from them.

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Dec 15 2011, 09:38 AM) bro serious one .. CVT is variable .. sometimes it needs more power to push the car.. some times it dont .. the variable that can decides this is .. WEIGHT .. what u carry in ur car .. FUEL .. what type of fuel ... i felt shell really rubbish (i very bias geh ) .. but i dyno with miuk .. 3 bhp more then his (im not on shell) Other Drags .. bodykit la , spoiler la.. No choice la, have to pump Shell. Somemore near my house got no Esso. Actually I prefer Caltex, but damn hard to find.
