Hi Guys,

Hoping some of you could help me out with the problem I'm having. Every now and then, I get kicked out of the game with the message stating that I've been kicked off the server by PunkBuster.

As far as I know, PunkBuster is an anti-cheat in-game plugin. It frustrates me not knowing the main reason I got kicked. I do not run any scripts or cheating trainer or the variations of it. If so, why do I still get kicked from servers? Is there any application I need to install or something to stop this from happening?

The last time this happened was roughly 30 mins ago. I was playing Conquest Large on Operation Metro on a 64 players server. I would say my game play in this session was much better than during others. Before I got kicked off the server, I had 23 kills, 3 deaths, using SV98 and ballistic scope. Usually I get 3 kills and 23 deaths instead (noob maa) on most game play.

Could the reason for me to be kicked off the server was due to me suddenly having better score than usual and it thinks that I'm cheating?

Do update for PunkBuster?

I hv the same problem.
Nope, update punkbuster did not help.

Called EA, they said its punkbuster fault, so they also cant help.

My solution, delete pb folder, run pbsetup.exe > profit.

I have to do this every time when i change server, probably has something to do with my installation but since i already used to it, didn't bother about it anymore, just delete pb > update, thats it.

i solve this by updating PB.
for now, not getting kick by PB yet.

I hv updated punkbuster but still got kicked out.
Why???????????

Where am I supposed to look for the update. I went on to this site: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=support-bf3.php
It seems pretty standard. Should I proceed and download the version they have on this site or is there another site I should go to?

I don't use any since I resigned from McAfee

make sure PnkBstrA.exe is running.
make sure u login as admin.

else pbsetup and do the necessary to run as admin.

Its Pb.... u can try to follow this...

1. Delete Pb Folder in (Origin games >> Battlefield 3 >> (PB folder))
2. Download PBsetup
3. Run PBsetup
4. Select (Battlefield 3)
5. Right click on Battlefield 3
6. Click Update
the PB for Battlefield 3 shud run for about 3 minutes+

Hacker ma... of course get kicked by Pb...
