unless all the muslim nations have their own military alliance, like NATO, and capable of developing their own weapons, then only we can talk about some military action..

Just curious does the minister bodyguard talk in somekind of codded language? It sounded like those orang asli languages (not bahasa iban for sure as i understand that language) If i not mistaken by the lapel pin is actually PGK (look alike like SAS insignia) worn by the bodyguard.

The reason i asked cos one of high ranking minster actually visited Aussie meeting with student from malaysia. For sure they are VERY OBSERVENT/ Situation awareness about the environment there were in. Got the chance to stand beside them. Wished could have take pic of the lapel pin sad.gif

One of my uncle is a retired english combat engineer who had served at the end of WW2 guarding German POW. He went off to Korea serving under UN and nearly got capture by North Korean. Then he spent part of his time in West Malaya fighting the communist together with the Scots (He was en-route to HK garrison but the transport ship broke down so he was temporary transferred to the Scots). He ended his service in HK garrision.

Asked about him if he is very proud for what he had being tru. He not proud of what had he gone tru. He dont give any shit on memorial day. My aunt (his wife) told me he occasionally had nightmare.

I managed to take the pics of the medals he earned during his time in the army but i not sure if its approriate to put it here. His dad also fought in ww1 and also had ww1 commemoration King George V box and medal too.

Typical basterd mad.gif Even if we send those Cik SU there then who will fly them? This type of person never learn from history. Ask them how long actually Al-Fateh prepared for war and what he did before he conquered Constatine. I still remember how during 1st Gulf war these type of basterd wanted to sent 10 000 "monkeys" to iraq to fight and none of them went there. I now live with one of the monkey. I call him b**** whistling.gif ( he is a male actually and volunteered to go but when time came his ustaz told him awk blajr la dlu- obviously his ustaz also stay here) These type of person only know how to degrade people and think they are so good since they're wearing kopiah.I'm wondering what happened to the other 9 999 monkeys? They should go 1st instead of us and go back here and teach us what war actually feel like.Suruh aje dia fahami al-quran dripada peleceh org

Malaysia's defense spending expands

Published: Nov. 20, 2012 at 3:21 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Various Malaysian indigenous and foreign defense projects will reach $1.63 billion in 2012.

Malaysian Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the government was committed to expanding the country's defense sector to not only provide for the country's armed forces needs but also to meet the increasing demand for military equipment in the region.

Hamidi, after attending a meeting of the Malaysia Industry Council for Defense, Enforcement and Security, said, "This is especially so following the meeting of Association of Southeast Asian Nations Defense Ministers in Cambodia last month, which decided to bolster cooperation in the defense industry among member states."

Hamidi, the Bernama news agency reported, added that the government had recently approved the building of an industrial plant, an educational center and defense industry manufacturing facility in Perak, where the state government had approved the acquisition of land for the project.

NDC Babur Cruise Missile

Babur (Urdu : بابر) (named after the first Mughal Emperor Zahir ud-Din Babur), also designated Hatf VII, is the first land attack cruise missile to be developed by Pakistan.

Launched from ground-based transporter erector launchers, warships and submarines, the Babur can be armed with a conventional or nuclear warhead and has a reported range of 700 km (430 mi). The missile is designed to avoid radar detection and penetrate enemy air defences. Serial production of the Babur started in October 2005.

It has been speculated that Babur is based on the BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missile, after six Tomahawks crash-landed on Pakistani territory in 1998 during US airstrikes on targets in Afghanistan, and its design seems to show this influence. The propulsion system appears to approximate that of BGM-109 Tomahawk according to videos of its launch. However, there is no confirmation of this and the Pakistani missile development organisation NESCOM has rejected this theory. Some members of NESCOM have stated, off the record, that Pakistan has been working on cruise missiles since 1995

Babur is believed to have been developed in response to reports that India was planning to acquire Patriot missiles from the US, in order to set up a ballistic missile defense system to counter Pakistan's arsenal of ballistic missiles.

Type : Medium-range subsonic cruise missile

Manufacturer : National Defence Complex (NDC)

Engine : Turbofan (Solid-fuel rocket booster during launch)

Wingspan : 2.67 m

Propellant : Solid fuel (booster rocket) Liquid fuel (jet engine)

Operational range : 700 km

Speed : 880 km/h or 550 mph (Mach 0.8)

Guidance system : INS, TERCOM/DSMAC, GPS, GLONASS

It is said that war is only glorified by politicians and by those who did not actually take action in one.
