Hi all, my name's Kirk. I'm an Olympic weightlifting and Crossfit coach. A few of us, coaches from Singapore and Malaysia and China (Including Coach Wu) are kinda curious about training closer to maxes 90%< and 70-80%. Thus we're testing to see which training range supports what sort of results.

We believe that training closer to 90% will get you stronger faster, but we're not sure about technical breakdown. However, we believe that training between 70-80% supports technical change, but progresses more slowly.

Just so you have an idea of who we are,

We'll provide coaching critique when you provide us videos, once a week and the program. This is what we need from you though;

- Your lifting experience
- Your training log at the end of the week
- Your current lifts

We need people who have at least a 140KG back squat, a 180KG deadlift, 100KG bench press, can do 10 strict pull-ups or chin-ups, have an overhead press of 60KG and can push-press confidently for the 90%< training program.

For those who are interested in the 70-80% program, we're looking for people with at least a 100KG squat, a 140KG deadlift, 10 strict pull-ups, overhead press 50KG and can do 50 push-ups non-stop.

We need to have a relatively high base of strength before starting the 90% program, but for the 70-80% program, we can work there later.
If you're interested, you need to know how to read. Thus, don't PM me. Just drop a reply here. If you PM me even once before I PM you, we can't take you in.

You should have relative proficiency in these movements:

Front Squats
Back Squats
Deadlifts
Snatch Grip Deadlifts
Dumbbell one handed row
Push Press
Strict overhead press
Dumbbell Bench Pressing
Box Jumps
Lunges

Front Squats
Push Press
Strict overhead press - i usually do it with smith or dumbbells, both seated

Can you try getting some practice on the presses? The front squats are pretty simple once you get the wrist flexibility.
We don't use any smith pressing only because we're trying to test for power and less about muscular growth.
