Well, I never hear or read anywhere that it's necessary before.

SG teeth don't continuously grow like rodents (hamster, rats, squirrels etc). So it's best not to mess with their teeth lol.

my two babies like to chew on hard things..the pouch & the string, the wooden branch inside their cage.. sweat.gif

Separate while they are healing. Consider as 'masuk ward' la. After a few days should be ok.

put adoption to new joey.

Not the issue of joey. Its all about the issue of neuter. .will he behave as a dad and take care of the oop baby after neutered? Coz the 1st time he did very well as a dad for my two joeys..

with sudden neuter after baby im not sure behavior will react..like a father sudden enuch.

If you neutered in big group of male..then they will mix together without dominance.

You may consider when the babe grown up, if more than 1 male..definely sure male marking territory very obvious.

If you neutered 1 male, then not fair other male dominance the female.
*
Now I got two pairs..2 are the parents and 2 are the kids..2 males 2 females. . I will neuter the male joey also in order to keep 4 of them together. .

Better find some friends or relatives that can look after your gliders, it's not that difficult anyway. Just chop some papaya & feed every night.

Because i'm worry as they can eat until very messy..and i biasa change the newspaper under the cage everyday so that it won't get smelly..aiya.. 4 ekor susah a bit.. blink.gif

Yea Gliders are very messy eaters, so if you pass it to people who don't have much experience....I suggest them to feed more solid fruits like apple, pears etc.

It's only for few days right? But yea 4 gliders are a handful lol.
*
err..even apple and pear they can sambil makan sambil jump jump jump..i was like doh.gif
erm around 6 days..consider quite long and im quite worried..beside feeding them at night, they biasa have yogurt drops as supper before they sleep.. haihhh send for boarding I scare they never take good care of them, send to friends I scare trouble them.. unsure.gif

Yes but at least they'll chew the apples/pears until dry before spitting the residue out. When I feed my glider papaya, woah....next morning it's like someone got brutally murdered in the cage only. It's like blood splash all over the place.

Try to go back to the person who sold you the gliders? If you know you're the type that will travel every now & then......getting a panel of people to babysit your glider is important lol.

Another option is to attend pet events with gliders involved, get to know of other glider owners around you. Then you have a circle to lean on to during emergencies.
*
hahaha agree with the papaya thing..once almost vomit seeing the papaya mix with the pee & poo shocking.gif

erm normally my mum can take care but this time she will travel with me..
actually two of my gliders i got them from petshop..but luckily i brought them home..when i got them they are actually 4 and 5 months but no ppl buying them..they looked so small that time..now everytime i saw those gliders in the petshops which provide bad environment and apple only for them, i feel so bad..now even the sugar gliders' price is getting low..those underage joeys look so kesian..
my another two are their kids which i dont feel like giving out to other ppl..so now terpaksa keep 4 ekor..tomorrow going to send the daddy for neuter..feel so sad and nervous now.. unsure.gif

well..actually i checked on those events..i saw previous there are numbers of gathering for sg owners..but now seems so quiet..
