here is my case:
went for a trip to penang staying in hotel 3D2N. I brought my suggie along in the bonding pouch. I have a portable cage, Exo Terra Explorarium, which i brought along. I set up the cage and put him in there, then I put that "Do Not Disturb" sign at the room door so nobody comes in I had nobody to take care of my suggie so i have to bring him along no matter what and this method works XD |

hmm im having my glider for almost a year now and this is new to me.
usually when i bring dinner for my suggie it was so eager to get his paws on the food till he likes to jump on the food bowl or on me, even before i put the food tray down. these few days, hes doing the same thing and crabbing at the same time. any meaning? |

QUOTE(kelvin_faye @ Mar 25 2012, 12:59 AM) Observed for few days n see how. Maybe he is stress? Or just moody. They r individuals anyway. Not all acted the same. OMG srsly i dont get it LOL.hes crabbing again. (soft crabbing) i've been monitoring him whole day. been playing with him around the house and stuff. looks fine, hes happily plying the wheel and chirping as well. until its time for dinner =_= does he mean: "Give me my food and f*** off!" XD |

it takes time man. just cover the cage with a piece of cloth and let them be for a day or two. let them get to know their own house first

QUOTE(kelvin_faye @ Jun 18 2012, 10:23 PM) Doing really well. Im gonna start tent time today. She isn't afraid of coming to me for treats and its only like the 3rd day with me Both of them are getting to know each other by separate cages. Once i put the cage a little close, they sniff at each other and ran for the pouch Added on June 20, 2012, 11:10 pmBonding with my new suggie, Pabu is going well, she is quite friendly Problem is with my old suggie, Momo. I think hes getting agitated or impatient =.= Running around the 2nd cage and barks some nights. Any advice on how do i proceed here with their introduction? Ahhhhhh the pain.
Entered shower with 50+ scratches (friend counted =.=) after bonding with my 2nd glider Pabu and doing some intro to Momo. Both of them climbed and clawed as if im a tree T_T i cut their nails afterward. |

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Jun 30 2012, 06:08 PM) U should have trimmed the nails first haha yeah i forgot. too excited to do intro day 2!That way, u wont get the scratches n if they fight during the intro, there will be less injury But it seems that u r the biggest casualty here.lol! seems like its going well. lesser crabbing/clawing from the female >.> few more times and im sure i can put them in the same cage |

3rd October 2012
Today marks my irresponsibility, stupidity and ignorance. My sugar glider, Pabu, died from dehydration. It's been very hot for the pass few days and my sugar gliders were drinking quite a lot. I did not notice that the 2 water bowls and 1 water bottle was empty. Thinking that there's still water, I went out the whole day. Came back around 6 finding that Pabu was very weak. While in the car (friend driving) on the way to the vet, I tried to help her by adding some gatorade in water and then feeding her with syringe. She took 2-3 drops and got a little active again but then I guess it was took late. She died before we reached the vet. I'm so sorry Pabu! Very very sorry. T_T Kelvin I'm sorry I did this to your suggie's family, I do not deserve to own one. T_T I hope you guys wont be as a bad owner as I am. Be careful with your suggies guys. T_T |
