Hey guys. Just picked our first sugar glider up yesterday. Have had one for a week before, but this time attempting to bond and stuff. Either way, about to be 24hoyrs since I've had her, 3 month old. Issue is, besides one or two little pieces of grape, she hasn't been touching the few pellets I left there or the pile of cut up apple. Last night I just left pellets, and gave her grape this morning. The apples have been left untouched since I reckon she's asleep. Atm, still crabbing and getting up on her hind legs so we're not trying anything. Have also been researching on diet.. My guy told us just fruits and the pellets for protein. Insects as possible treats. Anyway, research led me to stuff like leadbitters recipe and stuff, the ingredients of which I have no idea how to find. What do you guys do? Ps: sorry for the long post Tldr; new owner

Don't buy from pet stores such as Petsmore and Pets Wonderland. Most of the gliders are in bad conditions, unless you would like to rescue them. Regarding home breeders, I would look for ones that do not do inbreeding while only breeding in small quantities. However, I do not have any quality contacts as of this moment. ): Will let you know if I find a good breeder. --- What do you think of this page? : https://www.facebook.com/ooNoodles/This post has been edited by Luckykristy: Oct 23 2017, 10:41 AM

There are mixed results regarding this. I would opt for one or two biji once in awhile. But, similarly to corn, would not do it in the long run. --- What do you think of this page? : https://www.facebook.com/ooNoodles/

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Jun 13 2018, 11:50 AM) No need. U can feed live and let them have some hunting as well Wahhh.........it's been a while yo! I've been doing that, although not much of a hunt since those crickets are like half drunk, walking into my glider's mouth But recently when I attended a pet expo, I was advised to remove the cricket legs cause its very sharp & could hurt the stomach/intestines during digestion. You've been feeding whole crickets for years to your gliders last time without any issue?

Always fed them whole.
