hi all

i saw a year old topic of Silverstone's AP121 Penetrator fan at http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1422158&hl=ap121
so i was wondering if this fan would be effective on heatsink as well. hmm.gif

so, if there's anyone who has tried replacing their cooler's stock fan with AP121, please share your finding and experience regarding AP121's usage. and please tell me what cooler type/brand you tested the AP121 as well. nod.gif

your experience on using it on casing are welcome too. better yet, please post some pictures too.

thank you for bearing with the noob me. notworthy.gif

btw, the video showcasing the fan abilities is here

Update 1. 26/12/12
found this thread. a review done by fellow LYN forumer, wildwestgoh

update @ 22feb2012
noteable heatsink aquired from my other thread
  1. CM hyper 212+
  2. Tuniq tower 120 extreme

fan that's going to be test against the AP-121 penetrator
  1. Nidec high-speed 120x38mm fan (borrow from runsing)
  2. Cooler Master Blade Master (hyper 212+ standard fan)
  3. Tuniq's standard blue LED fan
  4. CM sickleflow
  5. Artic f12
  6. Scythe Gentle Typhoon gt1850 waiting for cyntrixtech to bring in the new stock in march
  7. Cooler Master's new and updated Turbine Master MACH1.8 maybe?? - haven's seen anyone selling it yet

all in all, the most important thing before i decide to continue or stop using the AP-121 on my hyper 212+ is of course, the Gentle Typhoon. and hopefully the new CM turbine as well. i will update the thread with my test/review/opinion after i got my hands on it.
