I'm in uk right now and using SGS2 i9100 from O2.... you can try download an app called Galaxy_S unlock by 'HERLOZ' from the market and try unlock your device using that.... i've unlocked mine and it seems to be working. (maxis sim card enters roaming mode without problem). good luck!
