Mine is also G and 2.3.6 out of the box. No camera problem or other problems yet.

Maybe because I don't use that much, and I restart the phone almost everyday smile.gif

My friend 9100g camera got problem
After he took a pic thecamera apps will hang then cannot open camera app again (camera fail)
Have to restart phone but sometimes after restart all the apps on home screen won't show up, have to restart again.
Everything is default, no root, any insight?
*
I had this problem of SOMETIMES the home icons all missing after restart. Then a few days ago, I can't even get the home app icons to load no matter how many times I restart the phone... then I took out the external memory card and the problem hasn't return.

For those with camera issue, is it set to save photos to internal memory or external card?

is it can't work ??

Screenshot API is available only from Android 2.3.3 (i think) for non-rooted phone. But the manufacturers may implement it differently. For example, on Xperia Arc, there is a Screenshot option when you long-press the power button.

Yes. Failed a few times already

Do you use external microsd memory card?

How about set the photo save location to internal memory, and take out the microsd card. Use for a few days and see how it goes.

Anyone facing this problem at

Sometimes connection stuck at uploading thus no connection. I'm using digi. On 3g. Whoelse using digi. I hope its digi problem nt some hardware la
*
Yea, sometimes when downloading from the Market, the arrow icon stuck like it's uploading. Have to disconnect WCDMA and connect again.

Using Digi too. But I didn't notice this happening to my old Xperia Arc or Desire HD before. Maybe Samsung firmware or radio sucks biggrin.gif (or maybe it happens in borderline 3G or H area.... as I notice in my room, the phone changes 3G to H or vice versa quite often)

SGSII G version, Android 2.3.6, Digi

G user? Seen many G user complain camera FC or freeze but haven't seen any solution yet.
*
Yea, saw quite a few complaints here about camera and missing app icons. Mine is G (Android 2.3.6, not rooted) as well but the camera no problems at all (yet) biggrin.gif .... the only difference I can think of is that I DON"T use external microSD card.

Anyway, none seem to reply me or try my suggestion >>> set the camera to save to internal memory and take our the microSD card.

PS: Not sure if it is the cause but trying never hurts. I had problem of missing all app icons (empty home screen) on startup sometimes ... took out the microsd card and has been fine for over a week.

my friend just ask me, his G out of sudden once in a while ALL apps in the Application screen will go missing (totally black)....same time to all the shortcut in Home Screen ?

Anyone what is wrong ? Stock ROM...everything untouch...
*
Me too. It happens sometimes after a reboot. The home screens emtpy and seems the system can't load fully.

Then I took out the external microsd and it never happened again.

I think there is another person reported about this. All of us have corrupted card? Too coincidental. I think maybe the G version on Android 2.3.6 has issues accessing the external card? Any ideas?

Possibility of that and also if there is issue with the external sd it may be related to camera fc on g version. Who knows?
*
Yes, I saw many complaining about "camera failed". Maybe it's a related problem... external microSD.

Just wondering if it really is all of us has bad card? Or the set (firmware or hardware) has problems accessing external memory? I hope it's not hardware biggrin.gif
