Actually I'm not new to CM, was using it for about 2 weeks just as I let gave my Desire to my sister. She is still using CM7.1 stable.

A lot of desire users flash CM, but here only on s2 thread not much people talking about it.
*
CM7.1 stable is kinda unstable, at least for me it was =/

still, looking forward to CM9 rclxm9.gif

wath bout this http://www.papago.com.tw/android/Download/...all_SGMY_X5.htm ?

Added on December 17, 2011, 8:36 pmbtw which navigation software is better? google maps papago or garmiN>?

A word of caution. When installing Papago, it may sounds simple..just plug in phone and copy the NAVISEA folder...

But for the SGS2 and possibly other samsung phones, you'll encounter problem. What u need to do is, before plug ion the cable top the PC USB port, click Application->settings->UsB utilities. You'll see a Green Android robot and after u plug in successfully, the robot will turn Orange. Then only u copy the files over USB.... if u plug in directly, it'll detect also and seems normal, but when you copy files halfway, it'll fail...

And there's no Garmin on Android. So only Papago is the choice. There are others' like Sygic but no Malaysia map.

no need convert la, just drag and drop, unless the file size above 4GB, there's no need. you can also stream from your pc via wifi if you in home

cool story bro, but i think you're the only one having this problem. consider enable usb debugging in development and pluggin in instead of using settings>app>usb utilities

Hello guys long time not post here, i have flash ICS leak rom xxxkp1, overall the rom is smooth everything is function like wifi, 3g, camera, video recording, bluetooth, but i will say this rom is not for daily use because battery drain very fast and the anoying red rectangular when u select screen.
When on first setup u have to change to android keyboard because samsung keyboard can use at all, FC all the time and also change to alternative launcher because touchwiz lag like hell.
Now i remove all samsung apps that i don't want to use and i use nova launcher, i will see how battery life after couple of days biggrin.gif
