There is no way TS can prove the leaking is caused by whom.

Hacking already done, developer may not want to take the responsibility. Generally, developer only take responsibility if the property never altered with.
While for contractor, may say leaking already there, hacking just reveal the leaking only.

So how? No way to prove it.
