hi i'm new here and new to this forum too.

i just wanna ask if anyone know where to get extended battery high capacity? to be specific, higher than 1850mAh which currently using this. and it is SunGlobal. i bought this battery on June 2011. and now it seem to drain after 4 to 5 hours only, after (approximately) 9month of usage.

i'm using the obsolete Curve 8520, hahaha

and one more thing, is worth it to use Yoobao power bank?

anyone mind to share?

Hi , I'm experienc the same problem as you. Battery drains very fast even after 1 month of usage only. Sent both batteries back to the hq for checking myself because the seller MiniRaxe doesn't provide any after sales service unfortunately. Now waiting for testing results. I'm using 9790 btw

I have an 11200mah yoobao power bank for emergency charging, have tested it before with my 9790 - the 1A port charges the phone fine, but the 2A port doesn't, if I remember correctly.

Usually, though, my phone easily makes it through the day (7am to 10pm) without my having to charge it. I am using the original JM1 battery.

yes the biggest problem on blackberry is the battery. i can say only 1 over 10 of my friends who use bb have a good battery. my current battery is my 2nd battery for my 8520, after 15 month using this 8520.

My yoobao thing is just a standby. Usually I don't need to charge my 9790 between 7am and 10pm.

Which part is lagging? I remember someone made a suggestion that a few battery pulls will solve it. Personally, no lag experienced on my part compared to OS7.0. In fact OS7.0 used to lag everytime I tapped the speaker icon to change phone profiles - this doesn't happen to me on OS7.1.

You mean when you press the BB menu button, the menu takes time to appear on screen? On the main screen or in an app? I'm not noticing any lag on my phone.

Original is pretty pricey. to make matter worst, it is difficult to check the genuine ones.

Recommend to go with established 3rd party brand like Momax. I had good experience using Momax.

Needs to be cloned. I read that it is pretty easy. Usually, 3rd party batt would Come with cloning device.

I don't have one myself sad.gif
