1. uninstall both BBSAK and BBDM ,
2. completely clean the registry file [suggest using CCleaner] , then restart your computer
3. install the BBDM , then restart the computer
4. try connect your phone .. see if it is working.. m
5. if it is still not working .., wait... probably , you may need to download driver[automatically download] .. so your lappy must be connected with internet...
6, pop up should appeared[downloading and installing driver] ..
7. open BBDM , it should be recognized..
8. then you can install the BBSAK

I'm still waiting for the official 7.1 to be released too. The BBSak process is too much of a hassle -.-

These model,
*
9900 - best keyboard, higher resolution screen, bigger display, faster cpu, 720p video capture, louder speaker
9790 - lighter phone, better battery life, camera can auto-focus, nicer to hold (for me), usb port at the bottom (more convenient)

These are based on my experience owning and using both models.

Could be an app or two doing stuff in the background. For example, I get this sometimes when I leave the Foursquare app running and searching for nearest venues to check in to, and then I switch to another app.

Sometimes even leaving the web browser active in the background with a few tabs open will do this.

I had this problem. According to Brightstar service center in PJ, it's OS issue. Managed to convince them to replace with new set as mine was not even a month old. New phone, no issues at all, no heat, reasonable battery performance and smooth IU

Yea it's because the os is not stable hence programs in the background will hang and unable to restart. This causes the processor to overwork then battery very hot l had the same problem myself

Is the battery really much better? Or almost the same? What about compared to 9810?
