there are few things need to learn or master b4 u become a dj.

1. equipment, no equipment means no traning
2. vinyle or software, get those singles played by those professional dj b4.
3. talent, i guess talent play important role too.
4. last but not least is practise. learn how to cue song and the way to count bpm

i learn all this from a fren of mine who work for qbar and some those major clubs

a dj setup need an amp also. let say two cd turntable, two turntables with pitch control and must be DD. a mixer for all the source to be feeded in, and last the amplifier of course u need headphones and prefer some huge a55 loudspeaker for the feel of it
