i have to agree with ya on hip hop dj using da vinyl tho there's some of them using cd tho but then again ya can't beat the true sratch and warm sounds on the vinyl. btw what software were you using on that party. i plan to head towards the digital technology like what dj superstar sasha did.

yup ableton live bro... like what sasha, bt, pete tong, hawkins uses. but after nerding out myself on laptop route i find that it will cost a bomb to invest too man. anyways katopunk why don't ya try tracktor software it's pretty neat too but to fully utilize it get ya self a midi controller.

sorry all those above aren't my idol either is just that i choose to open more options. like my mentor told me once just use whatever software that ya comfortable with and i find ableton session mode is pretty neat to dj with but as sequencer i still prefer reason anytime.

oo ya zakk wylde pretty cool... oh yea btw blacktrix i might actually go for cdj instead of laptop cause of the cost efficient... even if running ableton or tracktor stuff u still need to invest a bomb to start with too. any recommend for cdj instead?
