Red - yup. you?

Speed - the recommended retail price is including profit so it really depends on how well you bargain.

Red/Speed - Still no word on my EFX1000s, don't feel like ringing cause the music is always blasting no one picks up and driving down is such a hassle. But if I do, I'll ask about the CDJ400s and the HDJ prices. I'll see what price they offer since I've bought quite a bit.

Red/Speed - I dare not confirm that you will get the same price if you walk in but if I were to buy on your behalf then warranty etc could be a hassle - I don't know, but what I can assure you is that the warranty is direct from Pioneer Malaysia.

The best way would be to go together, intro and deal direct with the reseller. Basically I just come along so they know that you know the price quoted to me. Sounds good?

what should i buy for the gears? and, should i start off with learning to dj with softwares, and then after that start to get some gears? most importantly, what gears to buy, and where. smile.gif i mean like, ppl say about CDJs, ppl talk abt those that can connect to computers, and ppl talk abt vinyls. what should i look for? in my mind i have this thinking of, getting 1 set, virtual DJ with TotalControl (Numark), since I am pretty used to VDJ already(been playing around for a year). And then there are those FinalScratch 2.0 n stuff. AND, there are those CDJs, which from what I heard Pioneer is only mediocre... so.. where should I go? thanks a billion!

Just sharing my thoughts for this program which I was using last time.

http://www.mixvibes.com/

Those with an extra sound card should try this out. It perfectly emulates DJing on a software(I didn't like other programs), and.. what more can I say, it has everything you need. And, if you own a mixer, you can hook it up too. My bro has even used this in a club before laugh.gif

Depending on your budget, if you are already familiar with softwares, just assume that you already know how to mix. Maybe you can buy cdjs or turntables to start off with.

thing is, im still learning with the beatmatching and stuff. yes i have the software pretty long ago, but then there are exams, classes, assignments and girlfriend tongue.gif so, really, intend to really settle down once n for all, learn it straight. hehe. currently im using a laptop, with a creative audigy 2 external sound card so i can hear from my earpiece while my speakers do some blasting.. hehe. wonder if there are actual tutorials around.

oh ya. turntables, dont they need vinyls and stuff. and vinyls for songs? hard to find right. cdjs r those we put cds inside right. u know now im starting to think if i should jz get those total control or VCI 100.. and how to get them. bah. maybe have to use credit card to buy online already.... for softwares. thinking of really learning these straight, then maybe look around for a DJ school or something to learn about djing on hardware instead of software. any1 know any dj school in mlk?
