ok here's what to do:
a) before u do anything, make sure ur internal soundcard is the default soundcard (if u havent install any other soundcard before, this should already be the default)
b) go to asio4all.com, dl and install it
c) plug in the usb soundcard
d) open asio4all and make sure the usb soundcard is disabled
e) close the asio and open traktor
f) open the preferences menu, and go to Audio Setup>Soundcard and select ASIO4All
g) click "Control Panel" to re-open ASIO4All
h) now make sure the usb AND the internal soundcard is enabled, if not, enable it
i) go back to traktor and click "Apply"
j) now go to the routing options, u should have the option for both the usb and internal soundcard at ur disposal

i have only tried this with traktor, not sure other software can work this way. as for audio quality, im not so much an audiophile so the sound to me is ok.. let ur ears be the judge
note: got this nice trick from NI forum

lol ive got it with me and been using it for quite a while but still dunno how to fully use it
try adobe audition 3 too i heard it now comes with dj view which is similar to ableton i not getting my hand on that yet tho
haha tell me bout it, i dled it, tried using it once, got a headache, uninstall! haha
didnt even know i had to dl the samples beforehand, felt like a chicken with its head cut off for the first 30 minutes figuring out where the hell are the sound clips..im a dumdum when it comes to all these technical mambojumbo haha
but since a lot of djs been plugging in Live6/7 to their sets, i want to still keep trying.. maybe some other time when im not lazy haha
for the time being, ill just stick to the good ol' traktor
