i'll check the price out...

b: i'm referring to the latter, dj'ing. erm... i've been doing it since 03... but i wasn't really serious about it so that explains the longer time to learn things up.

thanks for liking the track, speed. well, i'm afraid that's the only version i had. made that for a remix competition... didn't win though, but came in close at 2nd place smile.gif

yeah, i have a new track in the making... still taking my own sweet time to put the pieces together

there's a compilation album named "Technology" by Adlib Records. do get a copy to support the locals. it will be hitting the stores this coming march/april... the cd is around amongst the promoters for the time being.

i'm almost done with the track and i'm pretty much satisfied with it so far. i will definitely be trying my shot at the big ones this time which most likely think it won't get signed anyway... but what i'm aiming for is somatic sense. they're a famous label for trance genre.

i've checked on the skyline but etcm doesn't have the model in its list of imported vehicles. the highest range of sports coupe that we have is the fairlady. if you're interested, do let me know smile.gif

choong: are you the one choong from ideaz's forum? you have a v700 right, i think i remember seeing that in your avatar. anyway, it's good to see u here.

and a lil something i like to share with u guys..
recently i found a nice little tweak for those who are mixing using software (im my case, traktor) and want to have 2 stereo channel without buying those expensive multi channel soundcard..
all u need is to download asio4all and a usb soundcard (those flashdrive looking ones that u can get for 25bux).. what it does is using both ur internal soundcard and the usb soundcard at the same time so u'll have 2 stereo outputs (for mixing using external mixer like i do or having an extra channel for monitoring with headphones)...
if anyone is interested in this setup, let me know, ill elaborate more and give ya a step-by-step, quite simple actually

tell me more about it

as for the new track, haven't got any news from the labels yet... so it's still unsigned... so currently there's only "revelation (original mix)" available in audiojelly & junodownload.

thanks for asking tho smile.gif

just to share my happiness with u guys. i had my 1st gig at republic, sunway pyramid, yesterday. it was awesome, having a few reputable local dj's to play alongside with; namely dj gabriel and dj nicky c. due to the timing contraint and sudden change of plan, my 2 sets became just one and only played for about 40+mins. nevertheless, it was a good experience and certainly a sweet first time smile.gif the best thing was there is a patron, came up to me while i was playing, asked me where do i play usually & i told him it's my 1st time playing. he said he kinda liked the style. and the best question he asked is what is my name, i told him leng and he was asking what's my dj name, i have none biggrin.gif this guy really made my day... and my groupies came up to take pics with me, so nice of them, made me feel like i'm a dj. thank goodness it went well.

according to your illustration, you're assuming the both pgm1&2 are deck 1 and 2, which is incorrect (if i'm not wrong la)

going thru the soundcard, analog out 1 & 2 is suppose your monitor output and 3 & 4 is, which in my case is the headphone, so, i'm not really sure where u should plug that to.

take a picture behind of your mixer... lemme see what's there

ann, i think this soundcard may not be the right solution for you. but anyway, to make this still work for you, if i'm not wrong, you will need to actually split analog out 1 to your line 1, and analog ouy 2 to line 2... for monitoring, i'm not really sure which one to connect to... but my best bet is the session in. your master out in your mixer should go to directly to your speakers.

you have put analog out 1 & 2 to one of your line ins, that that's half correct and that's why u only have half of the sound going through... analog out 1 & 2 as i mentioned earlier, is meant for the monitors, and 3 & 4 for the headphones.
so, if u split the analog out 1 to line 1 and analog out 2 to line 2, you should be able to get it work.

i'll post a pic of my setup tomorrow...
