i once contacted them for price quotes on cdj400 the ridiculously charged almost 2400, pstege 300++...giler ah!

now i'm torn between getting sony v700 or just wait for the sennheisers
but the sennheisers is smaller & tight, i love small tight headphones on my head coz senang melekat at the side of the face when mixing just alih the right cup away from telinga for hearing the monitor output . no need to do the famous "senget kepala" ones...very popular among djs

heyo guys, I'm going to ask another question that is quite a noobish Q...

but it has struck me that CDJs are a more savvy deal in the long run, CDs are everywhere... but I'm very interested in turntablism. So should I get just 1 turntable, and 1 mixer ; just to train on scratching.

I heard from my DJ friend records are $$$$pricey and hard to get locally, not impossible... so what you guys think?

Oh his initial selling price is around the same as pioneer's retail price but i told him that i got a quote (RM 1800) from Dynamix Sound & Light Production, he then gave me an even cheaper price (RM 1740). If you're really interested in getting stuff from him, i can help recommend you to him and get a cheaper price

Sorry sorry my bad, i was referring to the Pioneer CDJ-400 not the Sennheiser headphones. Sennheiser HD-25 II is around 700+ (Sennheiser's retail price is around 1200-1500)

I'm seriously considering getting just 1 TT and mixer for scratching practise only, since I'm still practicing on CDJs at the moment ; where can I find a decent priced 2nd hand Technics or any that you guys would recommend for scratching abuse?

I'm open to all suggestions, bear in mind I'm a student with limited funds as well. So can't go tooo far overboard with cool stuffs yet. But looking for a good long term TT for learning the fundamentals of scratching.
