I nuked my wife's Curve 9300 and it is now stuck on error 507. Wiped all and now cannot get the v6 on it. I was upgrading from v5. Tried all weekend but can't get BDM, BBSAK or Loader exe to work.
Thankfully I found this site and can't wait to get home to try the methods on page one. Hold thumbs.
The thing I still don't understand is why BDM only wants to download it from the internet and does not look for it on my computer. Am I doing something wrong?

At last. Found the problem. Seems if you do it incorrectly the first time and the app sees your pin, it will remember it.
I uninstalled BDM and the OS. Restarted the computer. Reinstalled both from my Completed Downloads. Then did No 2. (No, not in the toilet) Started up Loader exe file and did the battery pull, insert and plug thing. Lo and behold. The UNKNOWN appeared . Downloaded like a dream. rclxm9.gif

Did mine today. Found it easier this way :
After double clicking on Loader.exe, I plugged in without the battery. When the connection box showed up (clear), I mearly replaced the battery. No rush. Then the UNKNOWN appeared in the box and clicked NEXT.
This way, there is no need to be quick.
I must add that one would not normally use this method when wiping and updating. Only when you have a nuked bb.
Thanks guys.
