The easiest way to do it is to install Blackberry Desktop Software.

Download it at here.

Install it. Plug in your Blackberry. Wait until it's connected. Back up the file if you want to. It will automatically detect your software version and tell you to update the OS. Follow the instruction carefully.

I don't understand -.-! Full complete steps already stated in #1 page, but yet so many ppl kept on asking why and how. Really don't want to read first? If like that how to learn. There's no fast way to become a sifoo of your own BB. Slowly and 1-by-1.

Fast download rate server already provided, but not fully utilized by everyone. Sad case sad.gif

Bro ayil, u not referring to me were you? I've read your stable bb os & solutions whole thread and your first page did not mention which version of os7.1 comes with Chinese and English input though. I'm the one who can't install Bbdm on my xp sp2. Can't update sp3 since my xp is pirated in dilemma now.

I followed all the steps correctyly, and now succesfully upgraded my OS tongue.gif

great thanks to Ayil for the help and his fast server..

I did encounter several problems during installation, but that was because I don't delete the vendor.xml file
If you're using windows 7, need to go to c/program files (x86)/common files.... (to find the vendor.xml)
that's where I figured my mistake

thanks sifoo rclxms.gif
