FF Empire Subang is a Platinum club and therefore the only option is only the Platinum membership.

If you are residing in Subang and wishes a home membership, you may sign up at either FF Summit Subang or FF Paradigm at Kelana Jaya.

What's the rate of platinum compared to normal FF?

Dear FF members, i'm actually planning to switch from CF to FF because of the dumb management & their lousy customer service.

Can i know what is the rate for FF now? Normal, all club and platinum. Thanks smile.gif

190 + 6% for platinum

160 for house membership IIRC

Thanks & how's your review of the gym so far? If i join, it should be the one in Menara Axis or Empire. smile.gif

Thinking of applying for a 7 days trial first.

Consistent fees, no overcharge and most importantly, no annoying sales person bugging me.

Some gyms are smaller, some are bigger.

Some are packed, some are not.

Most of them are quite well maintained and managed, occasionally.

Sounds good. Will have a look at Empire's gym.

I don't think they have 1 club only in Empire right since it's platinum?

Is the rate still Rm180 for one club and RM190 for platinum? Before 6% tax though.

I did not expect FF to follow the same way like CF, increasing the price for the current members. All the while i was under the impression that FF is much fairer compared to CF.

I've just terminated my CF membership a month back and was planning to join FF soon. sad.gif

Now it's Rm170+ for 1 club and almost Rm210 for all clubs?

Unfortunately everyone will be affected with price hike. Look on the good side, it's RM7, costs less than a cuppa at Starbucks biggrin.gif

Well, i can't comment much on FF except that they have better service than CF. (inputs from my friends)  biggrin.gif

If you do join celebrity fitness, do bargain for the "special prices"...different member has different prices for same category of membership.

Some members paid RM19X, RM17X, some paid RM15X...I also heard some paid less than RM15X. CF admin is less systematic compare to FF.
*
Actually i only found this out way later when i was with CF. It got on my nerves when new members who just joined (some who are my friends) were paying RM10-20 lower than me when i've been a member for 7 years. Worst part, the gym was getting very packed with the RM48 promotion on groupon & major renovations were ongoing at the changing area (5 bathrooms, 2 toilets and no acesss to the steam and sauna left during renovation for nearly 6 weeks) rclxub.gif

Can share which CF outlet you worked out? The restroom should be quite awful.

Since you are there for so long, why you did join their diamond members? It is only available few years back and now no more already.

I still have friend who worked there and they basically only paid less than 100 admin fee once a year to maintain their diamond membership. It used to be RM3K++ many years back, after than I heard it increase to RM5K++...2 years ago I heard it increase to RM10k++ and now no more already. But may be can get it transfer from some other members.

The other draw back is that you will need to stick to the gym for life and there is no guarantee the gym can go bankrupt one day like Yoga Zone. 2 years ago, I heard TF still have these type of membership.

Subang Parade. I did not take it at that point because i was still a student and i was not sure if i will be in Malaysia/overseas. Yes and it was really worth at that time, i still know a few who are under that membership. The last i heard it was almost Rm12k. biggrin.gif

CF previously only have 2 or 3 outlet when it first started, 1 u, subang parade...but now they have more than 10 outlets....So logically the diamond members prices should go up accordingly.

Being there few times, do the members still throwing around their dirty towel in the rest room without returning to the towel counter?

How's the equipment and machine there? Are majority of the machine/ equipments functions properly?
*
Sometimes but now you have to exchange your membership card with the towel. Therefore, most of them return it biggrin.gif

Equipment and machines are acceptable although some barbells have not been replaced for years.
