QUOTE(nic90 @ Oct 20 2015, 09:34 PM) So you are not staying in Singapore and used it frequently right? Cause i'm working here intent to sign in Malaysia because of more affordable rate compare to SG... Just try it our lor. Shouldn't be any problem. just that it is kinda troublesome that you need to present the pass in exchange of access card every visit. Just go for it la, until they kick you out, if they dare. |

Dear Valued Member,
Beginning 1st May 2016, there will be a modest adjustment of 2% per month to your membership dues to cater for cost inflation. This adjustment only affects members who are out of the minimum contract period. Our price promise is that your membership dues will not be adjusted more than once in a 12-month cycle. Year on year inflation is unavoidable and our business has not been spared. While the inflation rate in Q1 of 2015 remained within control (circa 0.7%), inflation rose steadily in Q2 and peaked at 3.3% in July 2015 before settling down to an average of 2.6% in successive months. The Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) forecasts an inflationary rate of 3.0% in 2016. To put some perspective around our price adjustment of 2%, here are a few price increases that have occurred in other sectors throughout the year: recreation services & culture - increase by 2.6% food & beverage - increase between 4.1 to 4.7% healthcare - increase between 4.4 to 4.7% miscellaneous goods and services - increase 5.8% On the other hand, our costs have risen higher than the percentages cited above due to the weakening of the ringgit. To ensure a quality experience and exercise safety, virtually all of our equipment is imported; associated repairs and maintenance are sourced overseas where the major trading currency is the U.S. dollar. The royalties for group exercise classes are paid to non-Malaysian parties like Les Mills. Through active management of supplier relationships and internal cost structures, we are able to maintain an adjustment to your dues that is on par or below the rate of inflation so that maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle remains affordable for you. Thank you for your ever continued support. |
