I love Summit - not many people and those that go are very friendly - it's like a "family" club rather than those metropolitan ones

Yes, I hear that. rclxms.gif

But I get that from Curve, Paradigm, KBT, MBF and Empire too, I guess it's a two way thing? Haha

I'm not familiar with Leisure Mall but here goes. Trainers are willing to travel.

Paradigm - Look for Kimberley Chai

Curve - Kimbeley Yap

Empire - Keith or Jeremy Quah

Newer outlets such as Paradigm has newer trainers who doesn't emphasise on bodybuilding, which IMO is better.

Kimberley Chai from Paradigm, a good friend of mine. Read more about her here

Kimbeley Yap from Curve, I don't know her personally but I hear friends commending her for her knowledge and IIRC, she's a national athlete plus she's one of the more popular female trainers in Curve and is currently tasked to train Carey Ng, Ms Malaysia Universe. A rather demanding job.

Keith and Jeremy Quah are both from Empire's outlet. Both are crossfit oriented and the fact that they are flexible, fun, take care of clients' postural positions and workouts, made me recommend them.

Allow me to say this. It does not matter how huge or how fit the trainers look, the knowledge and ethics they possess are far more essential in making your workout and life better. There are stories about certified trainers enforcing their so-called ideal workouts into their clients, thus cause injuries or discourage people from making working out a lifestyle.

The curve is a platinum outlet.

190 + 6% for Platinum membership.

And FYI, Curve's always packed.

So, either bare with it, or pick another outlet slightly further.

does the package comes together with any goodie bag or shirt?

For me i rather find trainers who successfully utilizing the diet and workout on himself. So they know what it needs to look and be in their shoes and shaping you towards your objective. I emphasize the feel, some trainer who are thin they do have the knowledge but like said its the 'feel' and pain which they unable to 'transfer'.

Well i agree some trainers, choose not to look like a PT but its up to you. My two cents.

At least you are paying a fixed price.

Other gyms might charge you higher than others or suddenly increase your fees.

I don't really like FF, but at least their rates are consistent....

I don't like FF much, but I'm still with them due to consistent fees and no issues at my regular club.

Just saying some other gyms may offer lower but inconsistent fees.
