Guys! Me Axis regular on Monday evening. Yes the autopay machine have problem occasionally and yes to pay at the guardhouse.

Did you get it stamped? Get the front of house (FOH) to stamp your parking ticket to get the RM2 flat rate special for FF members for parking. Otherwise the guards will only charge you as per normal rate...!

Hey Alan, as I've pointed out earlier - you need to get the ticket stamped even when you use the autopay machine at Starbucks, it will still charge you normal rate. So you have to get your ticket stamped and pay at the guard house if the autopay at FF isn't working.

Chillax k, I also found out about this from the friends in gym. That's why it's good to mingle mingle. The FOH sometimes don't tell us enough. There was once when my instructor messaged me and told me the Autopay is down and only takes coins. Because I read the message before class, it left my mind.

After showering and all, I walked straight to the parking machine and noticed it doesn't take notes. Then only I remember about the message. The FOH saw (coz it was pretty late, not many people around) but didn't bother to tell me about it nor did they voluntarily divert me to the guardhouse with the offer to stamp my ticket. NOPE.

So there you have it. Not that I'm unhappy about the whole thing, I just find that they can improve their attitude and customer service.

Yeah it makes me wonder if the Home members there have to revise their fees. Really wanted to visit the refurbished outlet, one dayyyy!

Anyway it's good to hear the problem has been sorted out ...anyway the Rate A and Rate B is odd. I would think that if it's FF autopay or member, you enter after 6pm each day then it's the flat rate of RM2 liao. But yours is morning so I wouldn't be sure ^^

Hehe yes FF more lenient about guest thingy because they also have the priority of bringing a guest in for weekend workout after 10 months as a member. But also depends, their Customer Service is not perfect, still have loads of room for improvement.

Besides... I just found out that existing members cannot access a newly open club for 1 month. Eg. The Gardens outlet will be opening soon in Oct/ Nov and existing members not allowed access until 1 month after the opening -________-|| eeeeeeeeeeeeeee if you only open for new members, won't it be quiettt?

The power of a Hey Manager form should not be underestimated. Fill in the form and request for Grit. I have a friend who started to frequent AK due to work and he wanted to request for Grit too. The more request there is, the higher the chance they will bring in the program. It might not be immediate but at least you're heard

LMAO reading the blog. Anyway just because we didn't comment doesn't mean there's no supporters. Sometimes when dumb blog post like this appear, I'm just kinda stumped.

You see, everyone have different preference when it comes to gym. Some likes a huge freestyle area that FF paradigm can provide while some don't appreciate that because they don't use it. There are people who likes the juice bar while some don't.

Thing is, the soft drinks are there. If you can't resist the temptation, then I'd say it's the individual's problem, not the gym. You can always opt for green tea or the black coffee (without sugar).

FF has water as well - your option, cold, warm or even hot. 3 options. the writer forgot to include that in. I'd say +3 to FF for that.

WELL THE COMMENT ON GX/ CLASSES IS JUST BIAS. Some instructors freelance and they also teach at CF/ TF/ GF. Sometimes there are new instructors. FF instructors are just as awesome as the others!!! IMHO we are one of the club with most awesome instructors *my bias-ness*

BESIDES, note that the reviews were written in 2011. A number of things had improved. Last but not least, I hope you read the last part. Yawn.

I'm a FF fan and it's close to 2 years already. Never regret my Plat membership though it's not cheap. It's worth it for the quality and service. I have been to numerous gyms for their open day be it TF, GF or even CF. There's only one place I call home - FF.

AND OH, SINCE YOU BELIEVE THE BIASED REVIEWS, IT'S FINE WITH US. STAY WHERE YOU ARE, AS LONG AS IT MAKES YOU HAPPY, K.

I went to CF Bkt Rimau with a couple of FF kaki. The GX environment is not bad, bright lights etc but it's quite small. I think what appalled me and my friends was that there's hardly any chair to sit. We're quite used to hanging out at the lounge after workout to cool down before showering. Believe it or not, we ended up sitting at the empty treadmill

And the shower. Since it's only shower curtain and I'm so not used to it... I thought that certain cubicle was mine. I accidentally drew the curtain to someone's cubicle while she's showering my gosh, the salah-ness.

FF is not without its faults. No gym is perfect but when a review is not objective, it is so unacceptable

Hey hey, female also get angry one leh. If someone opened my curtain while i'm showering I wouldn't be happy too. That's why i just had a quick shower there, all the while making sure my clothes stick out over the curtain bar to signify there's someone inside. It's more of an invasion of privacy. Nothing feels more secure than having a DOOR. FF has a DOOR!

Yeah, opening the shower curtain/ door, it's an invasion of privacy.

Huhu yeah, I move around more recently because I needed to discipline myself to do more training. When I'm in regular clubs with my friends, I tend to end up chatting and talking instead. That's real bad imo.

I frequent MML more regularly too recently. The GX is rather small but nice because a lot of mirrors

Wah you still haven't go to PDM. But since you're mostly in KL, I'm not surprised. I hardly go to KL clubs myself unless there's special class/ event ^^

It's by option but I would say, why not use it? You don't have to sign up with the PT after that. The free sessions help you to explore and get familiar with the facilities/ machines. That was how I started actually. I asked the PT to teach me how to use the treadmill, bike and few other weights machine. Also learnt some functional training from there. It's a good way to help you kick start your workout.

It is very much auto. The moment you pass them the card they will give you towel. If you don't need it, just tell them no. Don't hog towels if you don't need it
