Closing for good. I think it's till 31st March. Or 30th April. Forgot ady. I think the club isn't doing well and management decided to close it for good. I hope they'll open a new club soon.

- Does the existing summit members need to top up a bit to get the plat membership since Empire is the plat club?

- Looks like Empire FF will be more crowded that before. I recall one time there are only few locker available in Empire during the weekday after office hours, around 7.30 pm.

I seldom goes to this club as USJ Summit area is notorious for traffic jam and shopping area look boring/ old . But can find some cheap food and staff in this shopping centre.

Probably the recent sauna incident accelerated its decline further..lol.

FF Empire is alright but you're right, can be quite crowded at times. I only go there on Saturdays or PH, rarely on weekdays.

If you ask me Empire branch only good for one thing - Swimming Pool. XD

Hi Guys, I am looking to sign up for Fitness First Platinum which I could use fitness first in other countries as well. Can someone advise me how much is it per month? Those trainers in fitness first can also pm me and advise, if all is well I will sign up through you, so u can get the commission too Win win.

The membership fee is pretty much fixed, not flexible (eg. negotiable) like other gyms. If you want to be able to use your membership overseas, it will be Platinum membership around RM210 per month inclusive of 6%. But i recall you can get max 3 months pass for overseas gym and if you're planning to use for Singapore, you can only check-in to each FF gym a max of 10 times a year, meaning if you're working out often, you need to rotate to other FF gyms in SG.

I see. So it's not worth it anymore since I am based in SG for long term and work out about 4 times a week. I thought I could save a little on the gym membership since the fitness first over here is charging about $170 per month. Thanks a lot swee_pez. I did not know this t&c

I too, only found out about this last week because one of my gym friends will be going off to work in SG soon anyway you're welcome.

FF summit will be closed on 30th April. Notice has been placed at the FF outlets for members attentions.

Reason given: Club location is not consistent with the FF long terms directions.

Few options available for existing members include upgrade, transfer or terminate. Their membership is automatic terminate by 30/4 if they decided not to transfer or upgrade.

There is also promotion for PT sessions at the discounted prices but the catch is that the training must finish before 30/4.

it's sad. I guess in the end the members have no choice but to either terminate or upgrade.

I terminated my account and will say farewell to FF Avenue K. The rate I was paying is RM 177.00 a month.

Anyone here received the two SMS from FF:

First one said no price increase after GST.

Second one said rolling prices increase of 2% but it is not related to GST.

I think the second sms send out few days later. How come I only received the first sms?

How you get so cheap? What plan is that?

I was one of the last few people to be able to obtain a house membership instead of a platinum one. I don't think they offer that anymore.
