I did went to FF using my travel pass last time, and yea the class is boring, the instructor macam tak larak like that, CF classes also pretty boring in a way, repetitive lesson every week  sad.gif
*
Some instructors are good and some need some improvements. The good instructors' class are consistently packed with members. It may be the same music and same tracks....but depends on how the instructor delivered the tracks.

The lesmill programs have new release every quarter....it looks the same but actually it is not.

No all members like classes, some prefer PT or worked out on their own in the machine/ equipment.

Kenot le. If the remove equipments there will be less machines. I think right now there aren't that many units as well, but at least just nice.

FF KBT members are Plat members. Can always travel to Setia or other clubs for RPM.
Me me!

So I went to FF KBT over the weekend, determined to cancel my membership coz I was gonna try out other fitness clubs, as a protest to their recent announcement of price increase. Instead when I reached there, I felt some nostalgic sentimental feeling coz I've been with that club since it first opened, ha ha ha...

In the end decided to freeze my membership for 6 monnths first while I try out other clubs (already calculated that the new club fees+current membership freeze fees still equal less to what I would be paying if I continued with FF).

They told me some changes will come by the end of this year. Will wait and see.
*
Other club that you have joined will required 1 year contract right? During the freeze period, you can't visit FF outlet, so basically it is a donation to FF.

You can always rejoin FF later by paying the RM1XX+ Admin fee.

That's my opinion.

Went to Puchong FF few days back, low water pressure in the shower room like what someone mentioned in this thread before.

End up not taking shower in the gym.

Hey fellas! Anyone know a good sales rep? laugh.gif

I'm gonna join FF at menara manulife soon. For now the price is a lil steep, not sure if the rates are fixed but all they presented me were 2 rates lol
If you work at FF or happen to know anyone that does please pm me!

Thanks smile.gif

Got ask before. New Plat membership RM210. Home Membership (Paradigm Mall) - RM179.XX (both after 6% tax). Older FF gym home membership is ~RM10.00 cheaper.

FF is the most bloody expensive gym in the town....so think twice before you joined.

I don't mind but... Argh this is hard lol

If this is hard, then join other gym which offer cheaper prices. Period.

Some of them have a bigger studio than FF. icon_idea.gif

FF is not perfect either...got complaint here and there + members in and out.

Well, after a month or so at CF, here are my thoughts from being an ex-FF member (well not really ex-FF, just froze my membership and still have the option of joining back): -

Previous FF club: Aeon KBT
Current CF club: Aeon BIG Bkt Rimau

CF over FF:
1. Fees is cheaper. Home membership 149.
2. Equipment newer than FF.
3. Crowd is younger.
4. The water dispenser dispenses cold water. (If you've been to FF KBT you will know that the water dispenser there hasn't been dispensing cold water for ages)
5. Parking is FREE
6. RPM Studio (main reason why I jumped ship)

FF over CF:
1. Locker and Shower facilities much bigger and has better ventilation (the CF one will get smelly once a while and the cleaner will have to spray air freshner, haha)
2. The GX attendees are more hardcore - they make more noise during the class, hence give you more semangat. The CF crowd all looks like newbies and very quiet. Maybe takes time.
3. Towel is better quality
4. Water pressure at the shower is excellent. Can't say the same of CF Bkt Rimau

So I still have mix feelings about the whole thing, but I suppose the CF is pretty new so see how it goes in the coming couple of months or so smile.gif
*
To cancel CF contract before expired need to pay RM400.00 penalty fees. Perhaps it is good for you to consider to stay in CF for at least a year. That's the rule last time, no sure if change now.

You also need to decide what you want to do with your existing FF membership that are still active.

Well my FF "freeze" is active till October. If I decide I wanna go back then I will freeze CF for 6 months till contract over. Ya, I know I'm wasting money (already kena lecture from wife) but what to do, I think it's very important to like your workout venue smile.gif
*
I don't think CF allow you to do that. The freeze period may not be part of the contract period.

No too sure about. May be you check with CF contract or CF membership consultant.

They are more or less the same, but some are newer than others.

Empire got swimming pool. BBT don't have RPM.

You need to survey yourself, I guess.

The 14th FF club will be opened in Garden Mall (Midvalley). rclxms.gif I think it will be a plat club.

Also, the Avenue K has upgraded to Plat club after renovation....Any members here can comment what change they have made in the club? Hope they don't just upgrade status because they want to charge more.

Correction here. I have relook the poster (got one chanis pretty amoi one) in FF regarding upgrading of Avenue K to Plat club....blush.gif

In fact, they will only start renovation from 4/8 to 10/8, close during this period.

Will reopen again on 11/8. So my question regarding change made on Avenue K should only ask in 1 weeks + times from now.

But my best guess, there will only be minor improvement since they only took a week for the renovation work. One thing for sure that they will put 2 or 3 PC in this outlet so that they can call it a "Platinum Club". doh.gif

Anyone working out at FF Axis?
I'm so sick of the autopay machine there.
Always not in operation / insufficient change.
Members will need to get the parking ticket chopped and pay at guard house to get FF member parking rate.

Problem is, guard house will charge more than the autopay machine and they just won't understand no matter how hard I explain.

Understand that this is the Axis management problem.
Shouldn't FF management do something about this as well?
shakehead.gif

Last time i went there it is standard RM2 after 6pm. The machine is down is as per what you mentioned and the guard collected RM2.00....same rate as per the machine.

If we go there during office hours during weekday, the rate is much more expensive, it is on per hour basis.

Perhaps the issue already rectified.

Problem with Axis is that the work out area close to the female/ male changing room is pretty warm, doubt the aircon is functioning. FF should also considered to relocate Axis to somewhere else due to its poor accessibility from Jln Barat side.

The Customer Service are considered pretty good in my opinion. At least the complaints are taken seriously and investigated.

The aircon and the astro issues in Empire Subang already highlighted by members quite sometimes ago....

Last time go there still saw the label saying that "the aircon is down...sorry for the inconvenience caused, and pls don't close the studio door when the class is on."

It is plat club charging us premium prices....can say it is a bit disappointed.

In between, you always so gang ho with FF, no worry that the forummers here accusing that you are one of FF Staff?
