most likely limited MAX ID per session also....thats why you would get the confirmation mail with ur MAX ID to enter for the queue on that session, otherwise it would be mess including the inventory part....

I forgot to record down my MAX ID....so now waiting the email to get the ID again also...
anyhow....the mail is the key for entrance...so stand still...
i believe although need to queue...it might not as messy as previous year...

16 is the date set by Apple to this round of launching....nobody can delay that....
telco which is ready will go ahead....

Maxis system was actually not secured, so any1 got that link can just go through and register 1...even you did not get the invite email...
but for sure the system has set in place a quota management which should manage the number of attendee per session, which is why you have some ppl saying that they get the message of particular session is full...
in that way, the attendance is managed, ppl who could be there get confirmed, there should be no sudden hop in who wanna get, taking away stock reserve up for those registered for that session...
customer satisfaction is better managed that way so that whoever registered for 1 session, come to that session, can ensure they surely get a device there...

unless some1 broke the order...lol

I believe, initially they plan to just forward the invite to those registered in ROI...
but the booking is done over public web, and without credential control, which means anyone can access it and just register...
ultimately...that is no issue for Maxis...as long as there is secured client...lol

each session will have limited entrance allowed (example: 16th 12am - 5000pax, 16th 10am - 5000pax)
those who registered will get the MAX ID which associated to your session...so u ll bring along the mail with the ID to the session...
if your MAX ID is not belongs to that session, you cannot jump in and just try to buy it...
that's how I read it....

that's what I see la...whether there is any glitch with the system, or other condition...won't know then...

that is pre-launch event...Don't think you are getting the phone in that session...

I come to think of, the reason they allow 1 ID to book for 2 sessions, is probably due to this reason, that those who booking for midnight launch...can actually book the pre-launch event too so that you can stay up there and get entertained...instead of just queue n do nothing...

probably insider can tell more about it...after all it jz my guessing on an approach which better put on customer satisfaction

i actually booked 2 session....15th 9pm-12am and 16th 12am-3am
coz i read it right: 9-12 is pre-launch event...12-4 is the midnight launch event...but now i receive the pre-launch...not the midnight launch...lol

I also done for 15 n 16 midnight launch....
the thing is the page is clearly stated that 15 night is pre-launch event....not about launching...certainly u won't get the phone before 16 too....
since u get diff confirmation ID for them, I think they should be giving us 2 email, one for pre-launch attendance, 1 for launch attendance...
I call up cust line to check, din get a firm answer on this...therefore i ll wait another 24hrs to see if 2nd email is in...
else gonna call them again to clarify it...

I actually booked 16 12-4am before i did for the pre-launch...

so it was actually started to queue and complete all the required registration then jz there join the event til launch...n collect when call upon ur ID/number?

some1 earlier mention about this, using same email n got 2 iso
besides...an ID was generated for u during u finish booking...
that is also tie to ur number MAXxxxx.... (last 4 digit of ur number)
so it can't be overwrite...
i m chasing mine oso...but will leave it til tml to follow up...

certainly there is an entry there....and a confirmation ID for that...

try call up Maxis if u din get in the next 24-48hrs i suggest ( i ll do the same too...)
