Thinking of going tokyo for toy shopping. Any recommendation on shops/area? It's going to be tough knowing there are hardly english signs and the packed alleys/streets like a maze  QUOTE(sspng @ Nov 29 2012, 03:40 PM) Just came back from Japan a few days ago. Fans, t-shirts, teacups, teasets, gachapon toys, etc. Too many to list them all. Stores even have exclusives as in available in that store only. So you have Japan only items plus that store in Japan only exclusive item. Super cheap too compared to Malaysian prices. Didn't buy a lot since my luggage was already at it's limit. I really wanted the R2D2 planetarium too especially the version with the Death Star projection. But it was too big to fit into my bag. Only had space left for the action alarm clock. The clock retails for 7800Yen. Also saw a collection of Star Wars watches made by Seiko. The price was out of my reach though. Pity since I really liked the Darth Vader one. |

Which kit were you referring to? Doubt any small scale is relevant for diorama or display use. Star wars merchandise finally hit the stores here, just in time for movie and xmas ... from bags to tshirts to water bottle to costume to stationery sets to board games etc.. Pricey as hell  |
