Just got myself the R2D2 action alarm clock. Pretty cool. Has Star Wars theme, message from Princess Leia, and the Cantina songs in it. Plus it moves and rolls around as well. Also got a nice dog tag set with Darth Vader and R2D2 in front of Tokyo Tower. Saw the force fx lightsabers for sale in 1Utama. Kind of expensive though (RM699 if I remember correctly) so I don't know if I want to get it or not.

QUOTE(soulcornell @ Nov 29 2012, 12:13 PM) nice collection u got there, these are the driods im looking for, how much bro? R u in tokyo? Tell us what other rare stuff that is In Japan? U better go disneyland tokyo coz they have a star wars ride name star tours but i think the commentary its in japanese la, n i think there a star wars theme cafe in tokyo Just came back from Japan a few days ago. You won't believe the amount of Star Wars stuff they have for sale there. Anything you can think of and everything else inbetween. Fans, t-shirts, teacups, teasets, gachapon toys, etc. Too many to list them all. Stores even have exclusives as in available in that store only. So you have Japan only items plus that store in Japan only exclusive item. Super cheap too compared to Malaysian prices. Didn't buy a lot since my luggage was already at it's limit. I really wanted the R2D2 planetarium too especially the version with the Death Star projection. But it was too big to fit into my bag. Only had space left for the action alarm clock. The clock retails for 7800Yen. Also saw a collection of Star Wars watches made by Seiko. The price was out of my reach though. Pity since I really liked the Darth Vader one. Just saw it for sale there. More expensive than in Tokyo but not enough to complain about. Also got myself several Star Wars plastic model kits from Fine Molds company while I was there too. They make the best Star Wars plastic model kits ever.

Actually, there are English signs everywhere. The stations, trains, and buses even make announcements in English. And the streets and alleys were a breeze for me to navigate around. Besides, unlike here there are maps everywhere. So if you do get lost, just find yourself a map and orient yourself with it. It's easy. What will be a problem is trying to figure out how to use the metro. It is literally the most confusing metro system in the entire world. Even my Japanese friends who use it daily still get confused using it. The larger stations such as Shinjuku or Tokyo have more than 10 platforms with 5 or more lines servicing it. As for looking for Star Wars stuff in Tokyo, usual place would be Akihabara. Go into every shop that looks like it might sell toys there. Walk into the basement shops and the ones on the 3/4 floor too. Because the ones on the top floor may sell the same collectible you want for cheaper just because it is located on the top floor instead of street level. Department stores such as Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku, Loft in Shibuya, Kiddy Land in Ometosando Hills have some Star Wars items too. Hell, upscale stores like Takashimaya carry Star Wars items too. Even the gift shops all over Tokyo carry Star Wars collectibles. Seriously, Star Wars items can be found everywhere from chopsticks to the usual toys. If you have any more questions just pm me and I'll try to answer it while it is all still fresh in my memory. I've only been back less than a week.
