thanks for the tip dude. since at MV will check out ur recommendation for glu n all. been a long time since i did "modelling + painting" (long time cuti) so every bit of tip helps. yeah, the gun tip is a bit off-sided so i guess it IS why they always miss when u need em to hit something, hehe... . kudos to doopy doos, the kit does click nicely with the hasbro blaster.

got some elmers glue, all out of putty, last scalpel broke so need to replace, sandpaper etc etc. and oh yeah....matte, not gloss. think since im not rushing i'll try to trim n replace the fake screws with real ones. will update. cool to know got fellow trooper building blasters so thanks for sharin the tip wink.gif

yeah, I scoped out the art shop at gardens.

1. Found the e-6000, but also saw Elmer's which I'm very familiar with so skipped it after comparing
2. Just gonna saw off n grind the scope section + barrel tip (alredy studied the physical form of it n how to cut)
3. Good tip on washing the parts to free that oily feel.
4. Realised urs is the first revision of DDs, from the thing on top of the magazine. Mk2 slightly detailed
5. Nice cord werks, think I'll add that too.
6. Oh yeah, trimmed a bit of the screw under the barrel alredy from the start if not the "folding stock" couldnt fit from the start. Trimmed enough it locks in place.

Well, think I'll start tonight, trim + sanding. Hopefully complete by the week.
(EDIT, think i'll take a lil longer to b xtra careful tongue.gif)

Looking for the sideshow 12" stormtrooper (non-PF) too but trying to search local 1st. Kinda restarting stormtrooper stuff la, hehe. Cheers

why do i always try to find the rarer stuff.... well, if anyone found the one w orange pauldron n all do buzz ya? yeah, know the 12" one is kinda hard to get. a forumer actually selling but in a set, so wat to do. look high n low still.

oh, anyway, update on me project, almost done except some weathering, clear sprayin and fabricating a simple stand. thank bro funkimonki for da tips n all. think i wanna build another one but with enough tools this time (dremel/rotary cutter) so that i can trim/replace the scope rail, grind off the fins + do holes below the barrell and shift the counter back (+ add wires) to mk it a bit more realistic.

Slowly but surely, u know I can't put too much moolah on 12" since putting Some funds aside for the 5'5" version tongue.gif.

SS sandtroopers are awesome but still prefer the clean simple SS stormtrooper for 12", and an accompanying all white clone trooper phase 1+2. Only need those 3 for the trooper evolution theme I'm focusing on. sideshowwwww, are u listening, reissue/remold the trooper already tongue.gif. if too hard, yeah, Sandtrooper it is...

I found these in Singapore, some are available in some collectible stores but went to tomica shops since it carries LOTS of taktom/tomica/Plarail goods.

over here in kl u just see one or 2 every few malls n is so overpriced, sadly. There are loadsssss of it there. Advance warning though, some are selling out fast!

Here's some trooper poison

I'm staying JB bro. Always scouting Singapore's market because JB there is nothing much going on. Normally, my hunting ground is TRU all over the island, Takashimaya and occasionally China Square Central. Never know there is Tomica store in Singapore. Know any good collectibles store? The one I normally go not so cheap, price almost like retail or sometimes a bit pricier..
*
I go there once a year minimum only smile.gif. The tomica/plarail shop is called "let's play" at sunshine plaza,Go google. Price seems fair n collection is quite updated compared what we have. I did find quite a few collectible shops at funan, Bugis n vivo city. Price? Lebih kurang, some cheaper, some more expensive but I'm more into the faster n wider range. Loads of koto Artfx+ But hv to do some research for the price range especially the ones out of productions. Even anovos helmets were around

Anovos first order trooper I Saw the one shop with the big gallery behind it at vivo city, near the cinema. But price slightly cheaper in KL La. Think throughout the years most toy shops left orchard area. Last time a lot but no more now except TRU, Donno if I missed them la. But most I saw as at those 3 areas I mentioned are worth noting.

One thing I noticed, if looking for tomica/tomy Star Wars stuff go to sunshine plaza, other shops if hv it will be marked up
