yup, agree that it was quite a good Garage Sale and the scary thing is that Kavin says there is even more stuff inside -
He has a huge collection of 3 3/4 Star Wars figs and an even massive Micro Machines collection !

Not sure what others were looking for but i came for Darth Maul's and manage to come away with a whole stash of rare Maul stuff, so i was quite chuffed

and even managed to sign up for the "Official Star Wars Fan Club Malaysia", so all in all it was worth traipsing across town for the Garage Sale

bro, where did you pick the Darth Maul Returns Battle Pack from? TRU? i noticed they have the new Speeders but i haven't seen this set out in the stores

Geez, where are you guys finding the new Yoda packaging Darth Mauls and Savage? I can't find any of them in KLCC or Aeon MadValley?

All i am finding are Anakin and Obi-Wan and the Clone Troopers!

Did find the Slave 1 in Metro Curve though but they didnt have the figures! Odd how Hasbro seems to be distributing them out.

Not sure about the 6" ones but i found in TRU Great Eastern Mall today the Black Series in 3 1/2"! Wasn't even aware there was one! Nice packaging and the black pack is nice. Only problem is TRU have cut the plastic cover to insert an antitheft barcode strip which damages the packaging. Anyone else seen this before?

I bought #01 Padme from the Ep. iI Genosis Arena and #07 Biker Scout from Ep. VI the Endor Forest. Price is RM42.90 each. If i can work out how to put up pix i could show you the packaging. Very nicely done.

Sorry, i think i got the only one. There were only about 5 of the Black series i recall. I got hose two but ther was an X-wing pilot and an Anakin and can't recall the last one

There were other figures with a new packaging design - single and twin packs with Vader reaching out. Can't say that its a design that is appealing to me. Again, they had none of the figures i was really interested in. I hope they bring in the 6" series as i do want the Sandtrooper and Maul for my collection.

I checked TRU KLCC and Parkson KLCC but none have any of the Black series, only the Vader reaching out ones - single and twin packs.

I think i agree with you - Wave 2 has at least 3 characters which i would like to get my hands on but Wave 3 only has 1 - the Stormtrooper!

Just picked up the Wave 1 figures, again there are only two that i really wanted - the Sandtrooper and Maul but it was being sold as a set of four only at York House BSC so i picked them up.

Having relooked at them again in the flesh i have revised my opinion on R2D2 and it is actually a fairly decent figure. Not a big fan of Luke though so the X-wing garb fig is still something that i wouldn't have bought and now there are two Lukes in Wave 3

Yup, i can vouch for that - none of the TRUs (based on B Village / KLCC and GEM) here have that although i saw quite a few in SG while i was there last weekend. Didn't pick it up but it looks very nice indeed.

Did pick up a 6" Black Series Darth Maul to add to my collection at the airport. A bit pricey even with the GST off but at least i didn't have to buy a whole set of four to get it. The Sandtrooper is quite hard to find even there. I think i saw only one for sale during my walkabout in China Square Mall on the Sunday. I definitely need to get another one of those.

So you going down to STGCC as well? Not sure if they still have sales on but two weeks back Takashimaya had sales on certain stuff but their Black series 6" was kindda limited but they did have the TIE Interceptor.

I normally try to check out the China Square Mall on Sundays whenever i am down in SG, but its like our own AmCorp Sunday market - you have too look around and compare prices and maybe able to find some bargains. One guy was clearing off his old Ep.1 Phantom Menace stuff and i helped him

Anyone heading to MidValley's TRU's Force Awakens Midnight Madness, which is part of the global Force Friday retail campaign? Will it really be worth it? The store is open for 2 hours and you'd probably be waiting an hour before hand and another hour to pay, and for what items exactly? Just Hasbro and Mattel i am assuming. Anyone have any feedback on this?
